We went to Fleming’s for my girlfriend and I’s anniversary and wow wow wow! The food, drinks, and service staff were all impeccable. We started out being wished a happy anniversary as soon as we got to the host stand. After we got our coats checked, we were walked back to a very cozy U-shaped booth with a city view behind us and a card on the table wishing us a happy anniversary. Our server, Bentley, was absolutely wonderful. He was so warm and welcoming, attentive, and made really great recommendations. Throughout the dinner, the chef and managers came by the table multiple times and wished us a happy anniversary and made sure we were enjoying our meal. 10/10 for service and making our night special. AND THE FOOD! Appetizer: maitaki mushrooms 9/10 beautifully breaded and seasoned. They weren’t greasy, they were just right. And the sauce on them was a perfect pairing. Steak: We are big steak buffs, and we have been on the hunt for a well-cooked, well seasoned steak that melts in your mouth. And holy cow this is it. We both got the Prime Bone-In Ribeye and it checked EVERY box and exceeded our expectations by a landslide. It had a perfect sear that gave it a wonderful crisp on the outside. It was seasoned to PERFECTION as it was salty, peppery, herby… all of the things that a steak should be. And it was cooked to an absolutely beautiful medium rare that was so tender we couldn’t get enough. Easily a 12/10 Sides: mashed potatoes were a 10/10 SUPER creamy and smooth Chipotle Mac n cheese was a 12/10! It was hands down the best Mac n cheese I have ever put in my mouth. The crumb on top gave it a really nice variance in texture and the flavor was out of this world Brussels sprouts and bacon were a 2/10. They had potential as the flavor was good, but they were drowning in bacon grease. If they had been less greasy and paired with an aioli on top, they would have been a hit. Drinks: the drinks were also amazing and get a 10/10. We order the salted caramel espresso martini, the manhattan, and the fonseca sour (recommended by Bentley). All were wonderfully presented and well balanced with flavor. Dessert: we ordered the crème brûlée (as we usually do) and it was an 8/10. The carmelization in top could have been a little thicker but the flavor was phenomenal! They treated us to a little box of truffle for our anniversary that were so so good, rich and decadent. Overall, Fleming’s gets two thumbs up, 10/10 raving review, and we WILL be back asap!

We had a large party (8 people) with a reservation made well in advance for a client dinner with most folks being from out of state. They still seemed completely unprepared for us. We got there on time (and there were few other people in the restaurant, it wasn't busy) but our table wasn't ready for 15 minutes. We said no prob, we'll all sit at the bar and have a glass of wine - except the bartender wasn't there and they couldn't find him, and no one else apparently could pour wine. So we just waited awkwardly near the bar. Finally the hostess said our table was ready so we walked over there, but the table still wasn't actually ready. All the chairs on one side were touching the chairs of the next table, the whole thing needed to be moved. The hostess couldn't find anyone to do this so she asked the men in our party to move the table "but be careful". She also plucked some dirty glasses back off the table. Our poor waitress was running ragged all night, we weren't her only large party. She also didn't know much about the menu. Some of the steaks had unusual names and while she could describe roughly the size of them, she didn't know the cuts or attributes. She recommended just getting something that you already know or Googling it. She also didn't know how many family style sides we should order for eight people so we ordered four (only three arrived, and she said the fourth would "take forever" and recommended we not insist). The waitress also had no patience with us. At one point, I was explaining an idea to my client, and the waitress impatiently tapped me on the arm to interrupt and ask if my water needed to be topped off. She splashed probably an ounce into the glass, and the conversation never quite made it back on track. The kitchen took forever. It was about 90 minutes from sitting down until we got appetizers. The whole dinner took over four hours and we didn't linger, that's literally how long it took to get through appetizer, entree and dessert. The actual food was decent, if a bit old school. Not amazing (one lady had to send her steak back because she ordered it medium well and it came bleeding rare) but satisfying. The portions were large on unexpected things, like salads and desserts. When we have another business dinner in Nashville, we'd pick another place. The consensus was that it's probably good for dates but not prepared for groups.

Flemings deserves nothing less but 5 stars for their Nashville location! My family went to celebrate my brother in laws birthday last night and it was a wonderful experience. Our server was very attentive and made our dining experience enjoyable. He was a friendly gentleman who knew the right times to come and check up on us and when to let us enjoy our meal. Great customer service! My sister and brother in law did the Tomahawk Tuesday course which was a 28 oz USDA Prime Bone-In New York Strip, 6 oz Filet Mignon sliced & served with trio of artisan finishing salts along with two starters, two sides & two desserts. The manager was kind enough to substitute the Bone in steak for another petite filet mignon. My husband got the sweet chili calamari for appetizer and the beef ribeye steak. We also got the Onion rings, Flemings potato’s and Chipotle cheddar Mac and cheese for sides. Everything was absolutely delicious. Very hot and freshly made. They even brought us a couple of fresh loafs of bread along with a champagne butter and pumpkin butter. For desert my sister and her husband got the Crème brûlée and Molten lava cake. My husband and I shared the carrot cake. Very tasty! I love that they have little bits of pineapple in their carrot cake. It’s different than the typical recipe and I like it. They also brought out a cute little Happy Birthday plate for my brother in law with a small box of truffles. And didn’t charge for their two desserts which I’m assuming was complimentary since we dined at Flemings for my brother in laws birthday. Overall we had a FIVE STAR experience and I definitely plan on coming back for future visits. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quality steakhouse in the Nashville area!

My fiancé and I try a different 5 star restaurant every Sunday, unfortunately today “he” picked this place. I haven’t been here in over 5 years because I remember when I would go it would be a vibe they didn’t care much for ppl who looked like me. Water under the bridge, fast forward to today, I ordered salmon and my fiancé ordered a steak 20 minutes later the lady at the bar Maryann comes back we are out of salmon I’ll give you time to pick something else. We ordered an appetizer, WINE, and dinner. She comes back asking if I picked something else, I then asked her about the wine I ordered 20-35 minutes prior to at this point she says “we are out of the wine (Merlot) you want and my manager can’t offer anything else”, I asked her when would she inform me about the wine being unavailable (fyi I didn’t ask for a manager or another option), she said I was going to talk to you about it but I am busy” huh? No manager was at the bar so she lied, on top of that I had to remind her about her about it, so instead of saying I forgot she tells me I am very busy. It was literally 8 ppl in the restaurant. Everybody was standing at the booth chatting and etc, they weren’t busy AT ALL. We got our crab cakes they are cold, so we try to get her attention for 10 minutes then she comes back I’ll heat them up. Next our food comes meat is hot, sides are cold she’s standing at the bar chatting, so we can’t get her attention in order to ask for the reheat on the sides. I finally wave to get her attention she comes and act snobby then says I’ll go heat them up, we eat our meat she comes back soooooooooo sorry everything is taking so long, we proceed to ask for the check tell her we have eaten the meat not necessary for the sides. This lady mention they are busy AGAIN, it is literally 8 ppl totaled in the restaurant (not including staff) but come one now. The service is horrible, run fast from this place. My fiancé and I pick a place every week for good food and vibes this was the worst. I honestly see why the parking lot and restaurant is empty. Coming from a business owner, don’t allow your employees to run your business to the ground. Nothing about this place is 5 star. RUN fast! Food is so mediocre and staff is AWFUL. Oh, I had my chicken blackened and it had a burnt taste, i removed the skin and ate the meat. At this point I didn’t even say a word about the meat, because they would’ve assumed a young black couple came for free food. Patronized at your own risk. My fiancé enjoyed his steak but we didn’t have any...
