Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

If I could give this restaurant 0 stars, I would. I've been here on a few occasions, and it's never very pleasant, but yesterday took the cake and I will NEVER go back there again. Upon entering the restaurant, the entire place was filled with smoke from where they were cooking in the kitchen and remained that way throughout my entire visit. The girl working the register was very obviously high and it looked like she had literally just rolled out of the bed. Her hair looked like there was definitely some kind of critter nestled up in there. When I finally finished ordering my food, I waited for 30 MINUTES for two chicken strip combos. While waiting, I noticed that the manager, who was a large African American guy, had a really bad attitude and was being very rude to the customers for no reason. One guy had politely told the manager that his order was eat-in after the manager had prepared it for to go, and the manager took a tray and threw it down on the counter and through the gentleman's food down on the tray. I finally saw that they had put my biscuits and chicken in a tray after I waited for 30 minutes for the spicy chicken to cook, and then I heard the manager tell another customer that they had run out of fries and were about to drop some more. I finally just told the girl that was high to just put some mashed potatoes in my basket so I could eat. They were out of mardi gras sauce so I had to settle for ranch. After being in there for an hour and a half, as I was leaving, I was listening to the manager list off several things to a customer that they had run out of, which was no surprise to me as they are always running out of everything at this location. Not once did anyone apologize for my wait or anything else. My advice, avoid...

Tonight I placed a order in the Drive-Thru for 24 wings half of them were to be honey barbecue the other half garlic parmesan and a frozen strawberry lemonade. The total was approximately $28 and some change. She told me it would be a 20-minute wait. I proceed to the window I pay with my debit card. She hands me my lemonade. She asked if I wanted any sauce I told her no. She says oh wait we have them I thought we didn't have them you don't have to wait, she hands me a bag and I leave I get home and prepare to eat and they are not honey barbecue wings .These Wings Are orange in color with light a light orange sauce it has little red flakes in it. The garlic parmesan wings were correct contacted the Madison store, I had call twice. A female answered the phone said that she was the manager I explained to her the mix-up. She tells me that they definitely gave me honey barbecue wings and garlic parmesan and that they will be hot regardless. She goes on to say that the only two options I have is to bring the wings back and let them remake them. Or bring the wings back and refund the money. I live 20 plus minutes away, As a customer of over 20 years I find it very disrespectful to be called a liar. Honey barbecue wings are literally the color of barbecue sauce. I would like for the video camera footage from the kitchen when they prepare These Wings to be pulled. And shown to the young lady to prove to her mistakes happen and apology. Secondly someone from the corporate office needs to contact me...

The store was rated at a 92 for the health code card. I am an insurance investigator and I'm providing the following factors that demonstrate the store's rating should be much lower:

1. the men's bathroom had not been cleaned in so long that the men's urinal was growing black gunk which had been growing for so long that it was coming out into the urinal, and there was growth also floating in the clogged and un-flushable urinal, along with other customers' pee,
2. the men's hand soap has been broken off the wall and torn apart for observably weeks, making it impossible to properly clean one's hands before exiting the bathroom,
3. the men's bathroom sink has not been cleaned in weeks from the obvious black buildup and handsoap caked onto the vanity top,
4. the men's bathroom floor was coated in scuz, black goo, and what must have been week's worth of urine and debris pile up,
5. I observed a Popeye's employee wiping sweat from her face and head with her bare hand, then using that same bare hand to prepare customer's food,
6. and last, while sitting at the dining table, a cockroach fell onto my lap from under the table, which I instantly flicked onto the floor (if you check the store's video feed then you can see it on video).

As far fetched as this experience may seem, all of these factors of my visit are legitimate, and I am still just stunned that this happened to me. Even if your company addresses these public health code issues at your location, I will...
