Wanna Spoon Cereal Bar — Restaurant in Nashville-Davidson

I live a mile away and had guests in town that wanted to try it. Sadly, I think this will be my first and last visit. $8.50 plus tax for the bowl of cereal and it came with about half as much milk as it should. I inquired about getting a bit more milk and they said I could purchase an additional milk. See photo below (you can’t even tell all the milk they gave me is in the bowl).

My 7 and 5 year old daughters each ordered an ice cream and asked if they could get the cereal topping it comes with on the side. The rude girl running the register (and who was training the other employee so i doubt she is a new staff member) said no and commented that they don’t do that. My wife politely asked if she could make it happen and her response was, “it’s only like 4 pieces of cereal”. My kids don’t even wish to return since she was rude but, fortunately, the ice cream isn’t special….just 3 flavors of soft serve and that’s it. We will bring our future guests to one of the many other sweet shops in town. The store looks cute from the outside but I promise you’ll leave disappointed.

Update: I emailed you (twice actually) as requested and you have simple ignored both emails. No response. Clearly you have no interest in correcting the situation. I can only assume your other claims (free additional milk) are also false. Don’t act like you care or make commitments if you can’t...

Fantastic concept and excellent variety. Cereal with milk or cereal as mix-ins… even cereal milk flavored coffee, which my wife really enjoyed.

I tried vanilla ice cream with Cin. Toast Crunch, Frosted Flakes, and marshmallows… it was excellent. Another member of our group had a fruity pebbles milk shake. Cool flavors! Beautifully laid out with a really nice, back porch/ yard area that includes ample seating, cornhole boards, and more. Fire pit and seating out front as well.

If I had to come up with one critique, It would be that they should create a formal board/menu of suggested, named combinations of ice creams and mix-ins to get peoples imaginations going (like Dairy Queen does with Blizzards for example). I asked for one and the server pulled out a piece of paper and showed a me a few that customers created that they thought were cool, Something more formal and varied would be a nice touch…. Even if it was a board with the “combination of the day”.

Whoever was working Saturday Aug 16th at 1:30pm was extremely rude and didn’t speak to me at all.

There were two girls working. One was very nice and one was the one getting my cereal and she literally got mad when I had told her I got 4 kinds instead of two and she then threw it in the trash and had to start over as if it was my fault.

I had strawberries as my topping and had 8 little diced ones (yes I counted because I couldn’t believe that was how little she put on there) and then proceeded to put them on the counter and walk away without giving me a spoon. She saw me looking for one and didn’t offer.

She was getting my friend her cereal and got her a spoon so when I asked her for one she gave me a dirty look and looked at me as if I was lying about not having one searching around my bowl and milk as if she didn’t believe I didn’t have one. The got me one without speaking again...
