In Nashville, Indiana for dinner prior to the Yes concert 11/52022 at Brown County Music Center. Ferguson House is a quaint 2 story clapboard house. Wood floors. Bright lighting. Beware, the dinning chairs are metal for those with back trouble. The review. House salads were great, fresh and crisp. The pork belly was half meat and half fat cap. Fairly flavorless. If you've never had it, don't start here. It's difficult to get pork belly right. Burnt ends using belly is great, otherwise if you like a lot of fat go. Salmon had a pesto sauce as topper. The salmon was ok but the flavor profile of putting pesto on it was not a good taste . Total flavor conflict. Brown sugar glaze, blackened with good spices or just lemons is ok. Pesto , no. Airline chicken was a bIt over cooked and covered with "peach BBQ sauce". The sauce tasted like out of a bottle and was observed to have some globs of peach jelly. Suspect bottled BBQ sauce meets peach jelly in a bowl. The fingerling potatoes were way over cooked. The irregular slice sizes led to burnt thin slices that very hard in texture . Lastly the Bistro Harvest Bowl. A bowl of spaghetti squash , sweet potatoes, assorted seasonal veggies, topped with a house made lemon preserve vinaigrette . The bowl Included Brussels sprouts and some mushroom tops. This dish contents were over cooked , flavorless and only a scant taste of the vinaigrette. Our diner had to reach for salt and pepper twice to enhance the flavor. The pieces were burnt in some cases. In all, our party of four was disappointed. The lunch menu looks like Ferguson House may be able to execute satisfactorily . Might want to stick with ordering the Bistro Burger at dinner and /or go for lunch for the wraps and similar bar fare . Service was great , food was not. Unusual for a party of four to run into bad dishes for all. Dinner menu may be a bit over their head. The 2 star rating is based on the food, not the service. Best!

The Ferguson House is definitely a beautiful spot with a cool atmosphere. The staff were very welcoming and attentive, and I really appreciated that they offer outdoor seating for guests with pets. We brought our dog, and they even brought out a water bowl for her, which was a nice touch. That said, I did feel the food was overpriced for what we received. I ordered the Chili Bacon Cheeseburger—while the bacon and seasoning were good, the burger itself was overcooked, on the small side, and didn’t feel worth the $20 price tag. It came with chips, but I upgraded to the mac and cheese for an extra $5, which honestly wasn’t worth it. It lacked flavor and creaminess and just felt bland. My wife had the gyro. She liked the tzatziki, fresh tomatoes, and soft pita bread, but the meat was overcooked and lacking in flavor. The chips with hummus on the side were average. While we were waiting, we noticed quite a few people came up, looked at the menu, and decided to leave after seeing the prices. In hindsight, we probably should have done the same. Overall: Beautiful atmosphere, clean, pet-friendly, and great service—but the food felt overpriced and underwhelming. Probably wouldn’t go back.

If you're visiting Nashville, don't miss out on this hidden gem. The atmosphere of on old farm house with the service of southern hospitality. The menu is posted outside the restaurant and online to see if they're within your price range and tastes. They have an amazing seasonal specials and cocktail menu. The Apple Cider Mojito was refreshing. We ordered the Shrimp and Grits and Lamb Chops- which came with sides and choice of soup or salad. The Seafood Chowder was great with real chunks of seafood and a flavorful broth. The meals were both tasty and cooked to perfection. We also appreciated that their kids menu offerings are similar to their adult offerings like steak bites and a kids size shrimp and grits at a reasonable price. We finished the meal with a cheesecake flight with Almond Joy, Butterfinger, and Cherry Lime. While they were all delicious, we recommend the Butterfinger one if you enjoy a full flavor cheesecake. We dined on a Thursday evening so it wasn't super crowded but reservations would be recommended any other time.

15 nov 24. Been here before, was very good, service was great for small atmosphere. What happened? Last time for me. Customer next to me ordered the salmon. Complained it had bones in it after eating all meat. Yes it's fish, has bones. Management threw themselves at this customer, gave free meal, a salad and slice of pie to go. Ok. Thier choice, I'm ok with that. I ordered steak, asked no asparagus on my plate, I detest it so much. Yup, came out, had a mound of asparagus right up against steak. I asked the gentleman bringing out our food why that was there, I specifically asked for no asparagus on my plate and was assured it would not be on there. Instead of an apology from anyone, the server went into it wasn't me, I told them not to put it on plate, must be guys in the back. Manager came out and asked server what issue was, same was told to her. Boom. Thats it. Not a single word to me. She fell all over the bones in fish. Not a word or even a look to me. Server, disappeared like a fart in the wind. Nothing. I had to wait almost 10 minutes to ask for steak sauce. No one asked if my steak was OK. The potatoes, mashed garlic. Wallpaper paste. So much garlic I could not eat. Steak was good. Ordered another drink, never came. But I was charged for it. Had to explain to server I never received it. He did remove the charge. Shrimp add on was 5 dollars on menu, was charged 6 dollars on bill. Come on. I never write reviews, I held my tongue in restaurant. But for all things Holy, if your customer had an issue, at least ask them about it. I'm not out for a freebies, I can afford it. But ask me about my service. I will come back if you showed you care. But lack of care, I will...

As a party of 7, we walked in for our reservation at 6 pm. We ordered drinks and appetizers first which were 2 cocktails, 2 beers, 1 draft, 1 soda, waters, jerk chicken nachos, and a stuffed crab mushroom. Our sodas and waters came out fast but the cocktails took much longer. We had to ask at least twice with the server saying both times the bar was backed up. Finally our bar drinks came out but we were still missing two beers and the draft wasn't cold almost like it had been sitting there. We had to remind our server again for the beers. By this time everyone has ordered entrees, the appetizers came out which weren't bad but not great, and a couple more cocktail were ordered. We didn't get our salads for about an hour or longer then the main food came out right after. The salads were actually pretty good but simple. There was a hair in my loaded vegetables so I had to send it back. We felt as if the burgers were plain, the steak was well-done and not the best quality while being ordered medium, the stuffed chicken was tough and not for me. The ahi tuna pasta was not bad but the overall experience was not pleasant. We felt the menu is too pricy for what it is and the food wasn't the best in quality in general. Our server did comp us the loaded vegetables with the hair and one of...
