Seoul Korean Corndog & Fried Chicken — Restaurant in National City

A clear example of “Trying to do too much”. A place that sells corn dogs and fries - sure! But having 2-3 employees to prepare chicken, corn dogs, fries, ddeok-bokki in an incredibly saturated mall is far too much work. The place either needs to hire more staff or cut away products from the menu. I have legitimately walked away without getting my corn dogs nearly an hour after ordering them. I have asked once where’s my order and once it was apparent they have forgotten about me again I decided that I would rather eat the $11 I have spent than waiting potentially another hour for two incredibly simple dishes.

The owner needs to do better. I am not blaming the overwhelmed employees because I would be as well. You either hire more staff or make adjustments, not add more items to the menu since their menu was smaller upon opening. You have...

Food is good but service not so great. Wait time is ridiculous. I appreciate that everything is made to order but the management should learn how to streamline the process. Not to mention when I tried to order the fried chicken plate, the lady said they ran out of rice. I said it was okay, maybe substitute the rice with macaroni salad. No. I said no rice then. Still no. Ugh! I ended up just ordering the fried chicken by itself, same price, probably bigger serving of chicken. Service is good, but the food needs some better cooks. The place wasn't that busy. Other food places were busier. Soupy korean entrée, which shouldn't be. Tteokbokki shouldn't look so soupy like Pho or Mexican menudo. Very disappointed in the quality of the food they served on this specific day, my wife and I decided to stop by May 17, 2025. First, you entered the wrong item my wife was ordering, so she had to correct you. Then, when we received our order, the quality was mediocre. I guess the weekend crew was still hungover.
