Our sports team chose this restaurant for a team dinner. One of our organizers spoke with a manager the day before to ensure our visit would not overwhelm staff. The manager confirmed that they don’t take reservations but assured us that putting tables together should be fine, mentioned we may have to order one by one and they would leave a note for staff about our group.
When we arrived the next evening, the restaurant was not busy. We pushed our tables together as planned, but staff informed us that we would have to order one by one at the bar. Shortly after, a supervisor/manager approached us and was visibly frustrated. She told us that if we sat together, the entire table would have to be on one bill—something we did not want to do. When we explained that we needed separate bills, she became increasingly hostile and uncooperative, insisting we either stay together and pay as one or split up into smaller groups. After much back and forth, she finally relented and allowed us to sit together while paying separately.
Service was inconsistent—one side of our table received good service, while the other side experienced the opposite. Those who received poor service ordered shots, only to receive the wrong liquor. When they informed the waitress, she returned with another round with the proper liquor.
The worst part of the experience came when it was time to pay. A few teammates who had received poor service chose not to tip. Instead of handling this professionally, the manager escalated the situation by bringing out three security guards and accusing them of short-paying the bill, despite the fact that all meals and drinks were fully paid for.
This experience left us deeply disappointed. We understand that large groups can be challenging, but the lack of professionalism, poor communication, and outright hostility from management were completely unnecessary. I would not recommend this restaurant for groups, and given our treatment, I would be hesitant to...
Read moreWe were at a show and stopped in this place because it happened to be open and had a lot of tables available. What a mistake. Worst dining experience I can remember in years. We got there at about 11:45 PM, and the waitress claimed that we had to hand over our credit card up front to order dinner no alcohol "because it was a bar", which I found strange. I learned the real reason is people walk out after they find out how bad the service is and how long they have to wait. We were there for an hour and 30 minutes, it took ONE HOUR to get food served. I know I would have left if our credit card wasn't being held hostage and the waitress avoided meeting eyes when I wanted to get it back. People came in 30 minutes after we did and were finished eating before our food came. The waitress kept looking the other direction when I tried to flag her down, and one of the food delivery people finally acknowledged me when I shouted HEY loud enough to make everyone turn around. 10 minutes later the waitress said our order was being expedited because the papers were stuck together and the cooks never saw it. After that you would think you might get comped, not so at this place. By expedited she meant another 20 minutes. I got the fish tacos, the description said lightly fried but it was just a big ball of batter with a paper slim bite of fish in the middle that tasted so bad I was afraid I would get food poisoning from it. TI just has a problem with service. The only other place I've been in at TI is Gilleys and the waitresses there excel in looking off into the distance and avoiding your table when you need a drink refill or to order food. I guess they have the gimmicks of the bare behinds and the bull machine to get away with it. Usually casinos are attentive to things that earn them money but I got the impression that the TI makes so much off tourists they don't count on ever seeing again that they just don't care...
Read moreMy partner and I have been here several times, and overall...it's pretty good!
Upon approaching, it is difficult to discern the correct course of action. Where do I go? There is no sign to tell you seat yourself, and no host to seat people. It's kind of a free for all, which isn't fair to the servers.
The last time we came here to eat, the bar was backed UP. We watched so many people wait (while we waited ourselves) for drinks that took way too long to come out. This isn't the fault of the servers. It's more an issue of untrained/inefficient bartenders. A skill that can easily be improved!
We can't say enough about our excellent server, Mikaela. She kept a cool head and was kind and attentive to us despite the back up in bar service. Very friendly!
The food runners and bussers were also on point.
At the end of the day, we consistently had full drinks and good service. The food is actually really good, and the beer is cold.
It's a reliable spot to pop into if you need a quick bite, or you want to...
