Normans Diner in Las Vegas has a variety of breakfast offerings. They claim to have the best "eggs benedict" in town. My review is only of the Benedicts, nothing else. So here we go. It was right at opening and no one there. Daniela was my waitress . She seated me and got me a glass of water and a Black coffee. I asked a few questions about the Bennys and ordered them poached easy with hasbrowns. Unfortunately she did not come back to check on refills until the cup was empty. I want to let you know that have a "top ten" list for Benedicts. After my visit I was able to rate these "Bennys" in my top 10. #1 being the best and #10 not as good. I found NORMan'S Diner Las Vegas good enough to be in my top 10 while holding on to the 5 star review. My rating is based on 3 weights : 70% = taste 20% = presentation 10% = price
#1 - taste: They use Canadian bacon . I asked for easy poached eggs and was presented with the same. Probably more easy than I wanted but my choice. The Hollandaise sauce was made from scratch and had a very smooth distinctive flavor and unlike any Hollandaise sauce that I have encountered . The reason I review Eggs Benedict is because of the difference in the flavor of the Hollandaise sauce. Their hash browns were shredded and cooked perfectly. All of this kept the review at 5 stars. #2 -presentation : The presentation was perfect. Not a hashbrown out of place. The eggs were centered on the plate with the right amount of Hollandaise on each. #3-price: $13. 95 is right in line with Bennys with hash browns. Coffee for $3.25 a cup which is just above the old normal. I was happy to move these Bennys into my top ten list but where? Waveland Diner in Des Moines has been #1 for quite a while. It is very hard to separate #1 - #5 because of the closeness of flavor. I can see that Norm puts a lot of pride into the presentation and flavor. With that I put Norman's diner in the #1 spot on my top 10 Eggs Benedict list that I have tried across the country. Congratulations Norm. Keep it up. I will be back to try one of your...
Read moreNormans Dinner in Las Vegas, Nevada located on west side of las vegas. Not to be confused with Norms Dinner, which is a famous chain of diner styled-restaurants. If i’m not mistaken i believe Norman’s used to be name Norms dinner, but eventually had to change the name do to trademark infringement. With that being said, it was over all a good place to grab breakfast or lunch. Norm-ans has that dinner like old school kitchen vibe. Nothing to fancy, but the food is good. None of my business, but getting some new ambience established might be a good idea, to compliment the Great food. Ordered Ribeye steak, Southwest chicken wrap, fish and chips, and some Corn-beef Hash. Best quality price ratio for a good steak, options of choice for side dishes. The corn beef hash was a lil mushy for me , but had some good flavor. The Southwest Chicken wrap was tasty, had some good layers of consistency in it, would order this again. Fish and chip was a solid choice, fish was fresh clean taste and crispy, just like it’s suppose to be. They are pet friendly, and they also have a nice shaded outdoor sitting area, so that’s a plus too. check out some dished on my pics.

Read moreBest breakfast in Las Vegas (with a little East coast feel) :) . The food is great, well priced and you will always see Norm's regulars. Norm's diner it top notch. I LOVE eggs benedict, I order this dish in every city and breakfast place I go to and Norm's in my top 10! I travel extensively, the only other eggs benedict that top Norm's is from 5 star hotels and a small place in Wisconsin. My husband always gets eggs over easy (which may sound simple but it's not.) Norm uses quality ingredients and you can taste the difference. Staff is always pleasant, always refills coffee and we have been going to Norm's for over two years and NEVER had an unpleasant experience. thank you Norm for giving usa local breakfast place to love, feel like Las Vegas is still a community and great food.
