We had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Emily, who appeared as if she was not trained well or at the very least should not have been left on a shift alone . Ordered the peanut butter banana flatbread, on the menu in the drive thru it clearly stated that the price was 4.99. Get up to the window and we were charged $5.49. At first she tried to say it was because we were close to the strip and tax was higher. We had to explain to her why that was not true. She refused to honor the price listed on the menu which is false advertising and I believe is also illegal. She acknowledged the price on the menu but all she told us was that she would let the owner know and asked if we still wanted the flatbread - still not honoring the listed price. After the transaction we drove back through the drive thru, spoke with Emily again, let her know again we were not mistaken and even took a picture to show her the correct price to get it adjusted. Went up to the window she refused to acknowledge us, ignored us, and showed us quite possibly the most immature customer service ever experienced. This is absolutely unacceptable. Read moreWaiting over an hour for an order is bad enough, but what pisses me off more is the attitude of the staffs. I don't even expect them to be overly friendly but not acknowledging your customer by locking the door and ignoring even though I knocked multiple times, is by far the worse customer service I’ve ever experienced. No matter how busy you are, shouldn’t you at least tell me to wait instead of straight out ignoring and locking the door? When a staff finally came out of the store, I asked how much longer I have to wait but again no response. Then another 30 minutes of waiting. They didn’t even tell me that my order was done, they just opened the door and stood there, staring at me to come inside and pick it up, left my order all messed up on the table with 2 missing drinks. Read moreI made an order on Feb. 20 (Order # 7906142657396736) that was an hour late and I called the main customer service number for Tropical Smoothie. Informed me that they had to contact the exact restaurant to make them process the refund. It is Mar. 30, two escalations so far have been sent to this Tropical Smoothie location, and nobody has even bothered to reach out yet.
Finally spoke to someone today at the location, they have to talk to their District Manager about it (because the stores are owned privately), so I have to wait even longer for the District Manager to follow up on it. What has he been doing for the last month? Ignoring the escalations?
The hoops and hurdles one must endure for a refund. I'd give you zero stars if I could.
