Eat here at your own risk. This is a long post but I think others need to hear my experience and be aware of what happened. Here is my experience… I had a long 10 hour work day where I am on my feet all day. I decided to come here after work and order a spicy teriyaki chicken bowl to go. I thought I’d be nice left them a tip. I take the food home to enjoy and about halfway through I noticed there was HAIR sticking out of my food! I pulled out not just one, but a couple of strands of hair from my food! Totally grossed out, I decided to call them to let them know about this and to get refunded because that is very unsanitary and disgusting. The girl that answered the phone did not suggest that but instead just told me that she will leave a message for the manager. Now I’m going to be completely honest here and say that as this point I was very tired and very hungry! Since that was all she told me, I threw the hair away and decided to continue eating the food. Disgusting I know and I’m ashamed of myself. I should have spoke up and drove back over there and demanded a refund right then and there. But like I said I was very tired and hungry. I want to say like 5 or 10 minutes later she calls back and tells me to bring the food back if I want a refund. At this point I have only the rice left. So I bring that back and she takes it to the back and shows the cooks. They say something in Spanish and then laugh. I’m Mexican but I don’t understand Spanish to well so I did not know what they said. She then comes back to the front and asks me where the hair is and I told her I threw it away. She tells me I should have saved it and that since I was almost done with the food she wasn’t sure if the manager was going to give me a refund. Do she tells me to call back in a couple of days as the manager was on vacation. To wrap this up, I called back multiple times and kept getting told that the “manager” wasn’t in and to call back the next day…. Basically given the run around. At one point someone picked up the phone and hung it back up! Lol I guess this place is a franchise and this is how they decided to run their business. I’m not stupid and I know the little game they are playing, so I’ll take my loss but thought I’d share my horrible experience and warn others. I’m not one to complain but I have NEVER had this happen and I enjoy dining out often as I have a busy schedule. Sadly, I will not be going here anymore. P.S I do plan on reporting this place to Better...
Read moreIt's okay. I discovered great teriyaki while living in Seattle, Washington. I fell in love with teriyaki then. Teriyaki Madness does not even come close to the teriyaki of Seattle. This was more like teriyaki fast-food. I was disappointed to see the person preparing my order squeeze a teriyaki-like sauce from a plastic bottle onto the chicken. That's teriyaki!!??? I thought that teriyaki is a sauce that meats are marinated in and cooked In. To me, this was about the same as watching someone squeeze ketchup or mustard on a burger. I was disappointed. And so we're my taste buds. It did not taste like the teriyaki that I - and my taste buds - know as teriyaki sauce. But then maybe they used the wrong sauce by mistake. It certainly was not awful, whatever it was. Or maybe irreparable damage was done after seeing "teriyaki flavored sauce" being squeezed from a plastic bottle over chicken that was already cooked without teriyaki sauce. I'm sure that many people will enjoy the food at Teriyaki Madness. But, for me, I could eat the teriyaki chicken again. But only if there is no teriyaki available anywhere else in the city. Personally, if I have a teriyaki craving anytime soon I would probably opt to prepare it at home myself. I must also add... The restaurant was very clean. The staff was amazingly friendly. Good meal or not, I certainly left there smiling because the...
Read moreI've been a loyal customer of this establishment, but recent price increases have led me to reassess my patronage. Over the past two years, the regular meal size has doubled in price from approximately $10 plus tax to $20 per person, without any significant additions to the menu or improvements to the dining experience.
While the food quality remains decent and the staff consistently friendly, I'm concerned that the business prioritizes profits over customer value. As a customer, I appreciate fair pricing that reflects the quality and quantity of food provided.
Regrettably, I'll be seeking alternative noodle establishments that offer better...
