I refuse to go to this McDonald's. Numerous times now when I've gone here, they've told me that they weren't accepting credit cards and only cash because of something to do with the registers being down and needing to be rebooted or something. This has happened multiple times now when I've gone there during later night hours around 11:00 p.m and later. On another recent occasion during the later night hours, I noticed the young girl hadn't put the barbecue sauce that I had asked for in the bag for my nuggets. She then closed the little drive-thru doors and left. I spent like ten minutes trying to get her attention as she looked directly at me inside the McDonalds. She just kept ignoring me. I even began to beep on my horn. Another employee even tried pointed me out to her and she continually ignored me. It wasn't until a different male employee came that I was finally able to get my nuggets and go. For the life of me, I couldn't figure out why the blatant disregard from this girl because I had always been very sweet to her. On another occasion, I asked for a cheeseburger and they said that they go to their night menu at 12:00 a.m. Mind you, the time was 11:50 p.m. When I told them the time and said that it's not midnight yet, they just said that they were now on the night menu. This place calls itself a 24-Hour McDonalds but with all the incompetency during late night hours, it should only be opened during the day. Actually, I don't like going there during the day either. Every time I ask for a Sausage McMuffin with Egg from this place, it looks like a pile of greese and slop thrown together. I typically return it and go to the McDonald's over on Calhoun Drive. The McDonald's over on Calhoun Drive is always on top of everything. There is a noticeable difference in quality of the food as compared to this McDonald's. They do such a great job with everything at that one. I do not recommend this McDonald's on 3680...
Read moreUpdating my previous 5-star review to 1-star This location used to be so good. Whoever is managing the store for the past few years has really messed up the entire business. The fries are always overcooked, stale, and have no salt. Sodas don't have the proper carbonation. I have had multiple instances of my order being made wrong. Once, I showed up and two 14 year old boys seem to be the only people working the entire store. The soda machines were broken, and they were clearly struggling. They didn't know what to do, or how to deal with the customers who had already ordered sodas. Don't get it wrong - it was absolutely not their fault that the store was in such disarray. Another instance, I was told to pull forward and that my order would be brought to me. We sat in the car for over 20 minutes, after already having been waiting in line for a solid 10 minutes. My kids had to go to the bathroom, so we parked and walked in. While they were in the bathroom, I asked about my order. They had no idea what my order was, and I had to completely re-order the food and then wait even longer for it to be made. The young man was apologetic, and it seemed like he, once again, was the only person in the store actually hustling. I wholly blame lack of management and appropriate staffing.
Disappointing, because we moved to New Berlin from Milwaukee and this is the McDonald's closest to our house. We are often in a hurry and need a quick dinner. We have been actively avoiding...
