Dairy Queen — Restaurant in New Braunfels

They earned two stars because the service was very friendly and did not take a lot of time. That being said we paid $27 for two combo meals. The Dilly bar we ordered fell apart because it was so melty that we had to pull over just a few driveways up from the restaurant because the stick fell out and the ice cream and was already melted. Please check the temperature on the freezer you keep your Dilly Bars in . This is not the first time that has been a problem at this location . The burger had so much mustard it was dripping out and was inedible. We had to take off all the vegetables and the top bun to be able to even eat the Patty with cheese in the bottom bun. We ordered two beverages, a Sprite and a Diet Coke and got a Sprite and a root beer. 15 minutes down the road when I found out it was root beer I could not drink this beverage as I am not able to drink sugar. Worst customer service ever! I wouldn't even. Give it 1 star! Very rude drive thru worker. Not only did the teenager yell at me and slam the window shut when I asked if we could have our ice cream after waiting for 30 min in the drive-thru (and we were the first in line and waiting that long) but she practically threw the food at me. Asked for manager then she had someone pretend they were the manager and another worker had to tell her to calm down. Finally an adult came to the window saying she was the Asst. Manager to address issues while the girl mocked and laughed at her behind her back. You need new staff!

Didn't even eat the food they probably spit in it! Don't trust it. Will be filing a formal complaint with corporate office!!

To be honest, the younger workers need to relax & slow down or at least try. Every order made had always had something missing im kinda getting tired of paying extra for items i never received. A little lazy at the order window as well. Could be way better. The elderly tho, sweet workers & always made sure your bag was checked. Update: Nov. 7. 2021 I have no idea who worked at 11:30 am when going by, the people are rude & pushed random food onto me, didnt get the order right & just gave a cup of syrup when ordering a slushy. Pushed someone out of the window just to be rude & throw the food out the window after having the audacity to say "you ready for your food" like I wasn't there for food in the first place.
