Tejas Bar — Restaurant in New Braunfels

So first time in new braunfels with my husband (he’s from here) and this bar seems ideal and nice. Also there was like 4 other people in the bar. My husband orders a coors. $4. Not complaining. I ask her to make me a frozen margarita and she points to the Smirnoff bottles.. thinking (as a bartender) I know they are about 4 bucks. So I’m thinking maybe 7 or 8 bucks for the marg… cause I wanted it frozen so I thought she was gonna put it in the mixer? Idk but I wasn’t expecting a HUGEfish bowl of CRUSHED SMALL MELTING ice, soda water, and the Smirnoff. I gave her 20 and went to see my change just so I can give her the rest cause I expected about 15 bucks for 2 drinks.. for as quaint and cheap the Smirnoff’s are and the other ingredients aren’t much… she then says I owe her $24 dollars!!! So I was not only taken by surprise, I still owed her 4 bucks. So I say alright and give her 8 dollars. Well as I’m drinking it I notice it’s super weak and and I can barley taste the Smirnoff cause it’s all watered down by the crushed small ice melting. So after that one sip I tell my husband to take it back and she says no refunds. She basically got 18 dollars out of me and didn’t even offer for another drink. Just flat out said no refunds don’t drink it owe well. Then COMES OUT WITH A RASPA irrelevant to our convo and this lady compares to our situation saying “I bought this so I have to eat it I can’t get a refund” how rude. Horrible customer service, coming from someone being in the industry. Get better staff. She was an older lady with black hair and too...
