This was our first time eating at Giza. It has a varied menu, but still makes it easy to choose. My wife had the chicken shawarma and I had the beef shawarma and we shared fries.
The food was cooked to order at the time of ordering which I really appreciated. The fries were fried perfectly, they were crispy and not oily and seasoned incredibly well, they were excellent. The beef shawarma was VERY tender and not chewy at all, and the gyro bread was soft, warm and thankfully not overly sweet which I really liked. The Chicken shawarma was done very well, and my wife could only eat half as they are very generous with their portions, our 15 year old gladly helped her finish the rest.
We both will definitely be going back again. The only changes for me personally I will ask for next time is more of the great veggies and a little less meat as I personally like a 50-50 mix myself. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the meat as it's great, I am just speaking from a personal preference.
Great and friendly service, and we found a new spot for our family to enjoy...
Read moreI cannot express how authentic this food is. It may take a minute more than your average falafel truck. Antwon and Anto both are fully immersed in the quality of their food. This is my third visit, and I cannot speak highly enough of their food quality. The falafel is made with fresh green chickpeas, garlic fires are not to be passed on, and the shawarma bowl with their take on Tatziki sauce (cilantro yogurt) is dynamite. In my many years of searching for some of the best food trucks, this one matches the incredibly high standard of food with their incredibly ethical, loving, and caring style of taking care of customers. Five stars all around, worth booking for private events as they have options for all types of eaters from vegan...
Read moreI wanted to love this place I’ve tried them 3x’s to continue to give them a chance, I’ve ordered twice the beef kabobs and both times the meat has been flavorless and so tough to chew and not to mention they added this bbq sauce to it that tasted awful with the rest of the food, I had to throw it away, the rice is bland no flavor, the cucumber salad tasted old and spoiled for almost $20 not worth it at all, another time I tried their lamb kabobs they were better with more flavor but seems like the quality has recently gone down not sure why, but I wont be eating at this food truck...
