First off, the food is just fine, but definitely nothing special beyond its proximity to our home. It is better if not served cold, however. For a long time, my kids have complained about the service there being slow and rude. Today I did an online order and showed up to pick it up when they said it would be ready. Girls at the front looked at bags that were sitting on the counter and then went back in the kitchen and said they’re still working on mine. So I sat down. 25 minutes later, as someone came out of the kitchen, I asked about the status of my order, as it was 25 minutes past when I’ve been told it would be finished. I might’ve seemed a little frustrated, but I didn’t raise my voice, I didn’t call anyone names, or curse or anything like that. I just wanted my food so that I could take it home and eat. The young lady, who it turns out is one of the managers, gave me an exasperated face loaded with attitude, walked over to the counter, discovered that my order had been sitting there the whole time. She plopped down my order and gave me a snarky. “Have a nice day.” No apology, no offer to remake the now cold meals. I asked to speak to her after she went back in the kitchen, and when she came out I told her that I’ve worked retail, and that’s not how you deal with people. When you make a mistake, you apologize and tell them, you’ll make sure it doesn’t happen again, and set a better example for their employees. Instead, she got defensive, and gave me an attitude. I should’ve risen above it, and just walked away from her, but I have to admit I’ve been sick all week and really wasn’t in the mood for it. I told her she was acting like a 14-year old, which she indeed was. In hindsight, I feel bad for saying that, but these companies need to train their young managers to be true leaders when it comes to customer relations. Manager #2 did give a half-hearted apology, but also defended her colleague, saying I shouldn’t say she was 14. It never occurs if: a) THREE girls at the counter can identify my order initially, or b.) manager number one simply hands me my food with a smile and apologizes for the wait. That’s all it takes—I am a big softy (check my reviews!). I am done at this place. Doubt I will be missed. It is all about the leadership—you never see this at Chick-fil-a or Cains or other places with higher standards for...
Read moreOk...honest review here .... i love Chinese Food and have eaten allot of it. I think honestly they need a new Chef...the recipes are NOT authentic Chinese. For instance: Orange Chicken / NOT Orange chicken by any means .... there is zero orange flavor also excesive use of soy sauce in this dish! Mongolian Steak.... well Mongolian beef / steak is made green onion tops and has a sweet and savory sauce...this did not! It have a salty sauce and stir-fry veggies in it. Pork Lo Mein... this dish is just ok ...can be made in a variety ways to be honest ...just ehhh in flavor and taste Hot and Sour Soup ( My favorite Chinese Food ) this was NOT good... it was salty and sweet...sweet hot and sour soup? I didnt order sweet and salty soup! Its supposed to be peppery and slight sour taste....not even close. 5 Lemon Pepper wings were absolutely gross!!! These seemed like they were boild and then flashed fried and covered in a lemon pepper seasoning out of a jar in oil! In the bottom of the container was ton of oil. 6 Almond Chicken needs help....its lacking flavor. Listen for a $101 bucks i would expect good food.! Please guys do something about your issues in your restaurant.... just making a reply sorry we hope to do better next time isnt going resolve your business!!! Take action....im NOT coming back until you guys say either you have new recipes and new chef.... because that is whats killing your business.

Read moreI ordered delivery due to there being no places where I live. I had heard about this place on a local Facebook group.
Let me tell you…this place is complete garbage. Panda Express a chain place has better food than this place. There is nothing authentic about this at all. I would have had better food if I bought a frozen box dinner at the grocery store. It would have been better. I’m not even convinced this place doesn’t just reheat frozen garbage and send it out.
The General Tso chicken was complete trash. The chicken tasted reheated abd lacked freshness. The sauce it was cooked in horrible, tasted unlike anything I’ve had, definitely not what I expected as far as general tso chicken I’ve tried. The egg rolls also horrible. Like a frozen pack tossed in a fryer and served.
My wife got the Kung pao chicken and couldn’t finish it. She made herself other food it was so bad. The fried dumplings tasted like plastic. The fried rice that came with the meal was hard and tasteless. It was barely fried. Like someone mixed a little soy sauce in it and microwaved it.
Being in New Braunfels maybe they can get away with this because the tourists it’s one and done regardless. But I can’t ever see myself going there. I’ll drive to universal city myself snd go to China moon or Shanghai. This is what i get for not wanting to go pick it up myself.
I doubt there is any sort of Chinese influence to this food. This is just garbage. Stay away unless you want to waste money and be disappointed. There are far better ways to waste your money and walk away less...
