Terrible Experience at Raising Cane's - Not Worth It
I've been a loyal Raising Cane's customer for years, but the location here has consistently disappointed me. I've held off on writing this review for two months, thinking maybe they just had a bad day. Unfortunately, that's not the case. I eat here twice a week, and it's clear that this place doesn't care about the quality of their food.
First off, my order is wrong at least 50% of the time. It’s incredibly frustrating to get home only to realize they’ve messed up my meal yet again. And when the order is correct, the food is still a letdown. The fries and chicken taste like they’ve been frozen for who knows how long. You can literally taste them fresh out of the freezer, and it ruins the entire meal. For anyone who knows anything about cooking, it’s obvious they’re frying the chicken straight from frozen. This makes it tougher than when you fry it thawed, and it’s painfully clear that no time or care is taken to make sure it's done right.
To add insult to injury, the chicken tenders are ridiculously small compared to the Raising Cane's down the street. Half the time, the tenders are literally half the size! It’s like they’re cutting corners on everything, from food quality to portion size.
After giving this location more than enough chances, I can confidently say I will never be coming here again. Save your money and go to a different Raising Cane's. This one is not worth the hassle or the...
Read moreWe love Cane's!!! We eat here about 2-3 times a month (we try not to eat too much fast food). The food quality is really good and really consistent. The chicken is delicately breaded, crunchy, and flaky. When it's hot and fresh, it almost melts in your mouth. All of the sides are perfectly sized and seasoned. Cane's sauce is basically a delicacy. My kids, my mom, and I all LOVE treating ourselves to a meal here from time to time.
The location of Cane's in New Braunfels is neither great nor awful. We usually go through the drive-through as we're on our way to San Antonio. The inside of the restaurant can be loud and crowded. It's visually interesting... really neat chandeliers on the ceilings and clean bathrooms, but the hard surfaces echo and don't lend themselves to a super-pleasant dining experience.
The location and design of the drive- thru is the worst. Ugh. Guests have to walk through the drive-thru lanes to get to the front door... and that's basically the only way to get inside. I'm not a fan of this layout... it's a bit inconvenient and seems a tad dangerous. It makes me nervous.
Customer service is good, but not great. But in all fairness, the inside of this place is always packed.
I'm hoping we get another location in the near...
Read moreI've been to Raising Canes before but this location blew away my expectations. As I came through the door I was blasted with a friendly welcome. The front register personnel were very friendly and welcoming, joking around with customers to add on to the experience. When new customers would drive through or walk up there was a head count being called out from the back to alert the other team members to rally together to knock out the order. When I ordered I had mine ready at before I could find a seat. That's fast. The dining area was clean and well taken care of by team members. Having 1 or 2 people cleaning minor spills or wiping tables. I usually manage my own trash but one of the team member offered to take away my trash as I attended to a business call. This added more to their image of hospitality. Everyone seemed happy here with smiles all around (had to look into their eyes as they wore masks) and had some music playing to entertain both customers and team members. I will definitely recommend this location to my group...
