The Golden Pineapple nbtx — Restaurant in New Braunfels

Wow. That's the way I'd describe this place in one word. First the service is amazing. If you get the owner she lives up to what she says, she cooks with love. Her service is very friendly and it's very authentic. The food....lol. Wow. Foremost the kabob are out of this world. I got the steak ones but next time I'll try the chicken ones but it's juicy and has this great home cook taste you just can't beat. It's like you got an aunt or uncle who's so good at cooking but now you have access to it way more frequently! The ceviche was the next incredible menu item. It was fresh and super flavorful and it's made right then and there. It on a hot day will cool you down and feels so healthy. I love it. The salmon poke not my most favorite but I finished it. It was different but I liked it a lot not same reaction as kabob and ceviche and lumpia. Lastly lumpia was amazing too. She offered home made lemonades, passion fruit and strawberry that you could buy and man I loved the passion fruit one. Lol I spent more money than I thought I would but I am full and really feel like I ate food that was made with love. New Braunfels we are really lucky to have this place! There's not much great options in this town. I think muck and fuss and mcadoo is over rated but this place deserves it's over 50 perfect 5 star rating on google. It's amazing! She deserves business enough to get her in creekside in a huge restaurant! That's what I hope she aspires for as life will be further made if she does. I'm rooting for ya. Chicken kabob, lumpias (a bit small, yummy though), strawberry watermelon lemonade and key lime pie...amazing. If you like spice, fresh habanero and jalapeno on the side with the kabob adds a really fresh complimenting spice. The key lime has the full tart flavor of lime without being sour. Perfect sweetness. I could write about so many of the foods that Christelle (owner and chef) makes at the Golden Pineapple. My all time favorite thing I have ever tasted of hers, and top 2 favorite deserts in the world is her coconut flan. It. Is. Incredible. She makes great cinnamon rolls and grilled chicken and so much more. She is an incredibly talented chef. If you are in New Braunfels, do yourself a favor...
