This is a fantastic new restaurant, and was a really great casual place to eat. I’ve read that the owner is the main guy that takes care of you, and it seems that way, because he is happy to explain things and make sure you have a good meal. The pot meal comes with the four sides to eat as an appetizer first, then you can eat those appetizers with the rice that comes with the pot meal, essentially however you want. I ordered the #1 and I’m pretty lame with my spice tolerance, and it was great.
The food was genuinely delicious, and was honestly really affordable, especially for what you get.
Also the owner gives more rice or more of the appetizers as you want them, so it was genuinely satisfying, and you get more of what you need to enjoy the meal.

The place was clean, the waiter was really nice, and the prices were great. I didn’t expect much, but… wow. It was SO good.
I ordered the pork soup (dwaeji-gukbap), and my friend got the gamjatang (spicy pork bone stew). And let me tell you — the gamjatang was amazing! Not just because we were hungry — it was legit delicious.
The pork soup was good too, but the gamjatang was so tasty that I couldn’t stop eating my friend’s. 😂 I totally recommend the gamjatang — 100%!
I live in NYC, so I’m not sure when I’ll be back, but if I do come again, I’m getting the gamjatang all to myself! The waiter also said the bulgogi is really good, so I want to try that...
