Pedals Smoothie and Juice Bar — Restaurant in New Haven

The place is extremely hot, so please beware of waiting inside. The wait for the smoothie took over 20 minutes— almost 30 minutes. The people working were not nice and helpful at all when I asked for help with my order. I was dismissed and they did not listen to me at all (I heard them bad mouthing customers as well). When I finally got my smoothie, it was not filled fully and was nothing special. The biggest issue was the wait time...

It’s very very hot inside, and the wait for one smoothie was over 25 minutes. I asked about my order and they said “it’s coming up”, but proceeds to take another 10+ minutes. Really not helpful at all and way too long of a wait for something that is very average. There are much better places!! I paid $10+ for a smoothie and I suggest anyone to please spend that elsewhere where you can get so much more + not have...

There's an expectation from a juice bar of a certain price that your acai bowl will be topped with fresh -- not canned -- fruit. Pedals fails in this regard. While the workers were friendly, Pedals needs to provide better quality ingredients. A "fresh" acai bowl is quite unappetizing when topped with very obviously canned strawberries...
