I walked into the Carondelet location after paying two dollars to park and driving out of my way to go there. Two women and one man were working behind the counter. All three of them were on their phone. Not one of them looked up and greeted me. I stood there for more than a minute looking at the menu before the man lifted his head and briefly nodded at me (expressionless) before going back to his phone. No one asked me if I needed anything, was I ready to order, etc. They were all deeply focused on their phones. Finally I just left with still no one looking up from their phone. In addition it was steaming hot in there for whatever reason. I'm in the customer service industry and this could be a training video for how not to act. This was at approximately 12:35pm on 4/9/22. Definitely will not recommend or be back. I should give a one star since the wasted visit cost me parking money and was overall a negative experience but my goal isn't to completely mess with their rating, just to hope...

She took my order, but claimed that the first transaction did not go through on her end. I didn’t think much of it, but I allowed her to charge me again. When I left, I noticed that my PayPal activity stated I was charged twice for the same amount on the same date. I went to the location the next day inquiring about a refund, but it could not be processed by the employee. She had me to write down my name and phone number to receive a call back from the manager. The service until last week has been dismal - the product is good, but I often dread going in here. This time was so different, it prompted me to write this review, something I don't do often. I not only was acknowledged, when I walked in, but they were friendly, made the order quickly, and offered to place my extra smoothie in the fridge, since I was drinking one and taking the other back to hotel. I have food allergies so ensuring I receive exactly what I order is sometimes a challenge. I felt confident that my order was correct and valued as a customer.
