Second Line Brewing — Restaurant in New Orleans

The best thing we did during wedding planning was choosing Second Line Brewing as our ceremony/reception venue. Victoria was so attentive and easy to work with over the year of planning, even as we dealt with adjusting Covid policies. She helped keep me focused and organized the whole time, offering to do regular sit down meetings and following up with emails regularly. Her communication skills are unmatched!

When it came to the rehearsal/event, this amazing service continued not only with Victoria but with the entire brewery staff! Everyone was extremely accommodating and attentive to us and our guests the whole weekend. We are still getting messages two weeks later from guests saying how impressed they were with the venue staff and overall atmosphere! Many of them have either already returned during regular business or have made plans to go check out new food trucks.

There is so much space available at this venue that we were able to create the perfect indoor ceremony location with outdoor reception space and truly give each space its own personality!

Don't sleep on this tucked away oasis in Mid City if you are looking to have any type of party! I can't recommend it enough and already have plans to stop back in over the next few weeks!

Second Line is one of my favorite local breweries because they have both a great space and great beers! We rented out their space to use for a "Welcome Happy Hour" for our wedding weekend, and they were so easy to work with! We had almost 100 guests attend our happy hour, and we only heard great reviews from them. As hosts, we also found SLB to be helpful, accommodating, and affordable. The events coordinator, Victoria, was easy to work with and communicated very efficiently and effectively. In addition to helping me get things set up in advance, Victoria was around for the whole event helping to ensure things went smoothly. Their bartenders were fabulous as well - very personable and kind (plus knowledgeable about their beers). Will absolutely be considering them for any future...

Is this a daycare or a brewery? There is a reason kids are not allowed in places ADULTS are doing adult things. Its annoying and immoral. Not to mention having to watch drunk people get in their car and drive home with their kids. Edit: their response is comical....i wasnt confused about the laws, i was disgusted with their polices. So again, it's a great place for you if you enjoy getting sloshed around your children. Also, i saw the reviews about children. Mixed at best. Looks like staff has to get on parents to watch their kids (i saw it with my own eyes too), and it looks like a kindergarden bar. This is meant for a fair warning to others,...
