My wife and I are becoming regulars at the new Waffle House in New Port Richey, FL. We go in for breakfast on Monday mornings. I always drop two dollars in the jukebox, and the staff really seems to appreciate it.

Being a former Denny’s manager, my wife knows plenty about restaurant management, and we appreciate the cleverness of the Waffle House system. Better still, we both recognize that the food is always exactly the way we like it. Real grits and eggs not overcooked or undercooked. We know that getting it right every time is not easy, but at Waffle House, they get it right every time.

The staff is as friendly as it gets, and the consistently perfect service is impressive. We usually have either Stacy or Aaron as our server, and they’ve both memorized our breakfast choices. Awesome servers. On the occasion when we get a different server, the service is still really good. Being former restaurant people ourselves, we like the comradery and teamwork we see in this restaurant.

A special shout out to Brian, the manager on duty during most of our visits. He keeps the place running without acting like a bully, which is a common problem in management everywhere.

Overall, my wife and I cannot recall one time when anybody in this Waffle House was negligent or rude, nor have we ever had food come to our table that was mangled or improperly prepared. Only on the very busiest of days will we see tables not cleared, cleaned and neatly arranged. The crew here is all we could hope, the food is done right, the facility is always clean, and of course, the prices are really low compared to any other restaurant. I’m giving them a five star rating only because there is no six star option. Compared to some of the other places we could dine, this is the best thing around. Kudos to Waffle House and especially this new location.

Came down to Florida from Ohio for a vacation with the kids. We haven't been to a waffle house in several years because all of them back home in Columbus really really suck. 😕. Because this waffle house was right down the street from our hotel I figured we'd give it a shot. I went in kinda scared. Myself, my 3 children, and my 10 month old baby placed a order lol. It was all very good but what made it really really good was the waitress! I didn't catch her name but she's from South Carolina I believe is what she said and she was amazing. She was very friendly she played with the baby she spoke with my children and made us laugh. You can't even pay for good customer service these day so this lady deserves to be acknowledged. She was on top of our every need. Then the bonus was when it was time to pay the couple sitting next to us had already covered our bill!! Man, if you get a chance to come here you won't regret it. All positive vibes. All friendly ppl. All happy faces. All good. Food was great. No disrespect to the cook but the waitresses make this place what it is! Definitely coming back when I'm in town. And to the lady that was our waitress that day you're amazing you are exactly what ppl want to see at any restaurant. Keep doing what you're doing you have a awesome personality...
