The shop owner is really an imposition and so rude. We were there as a family with our 10 month old baby. I asked him at the checkout if I could also pay in euros. he didn't answer at first. Then I asked him a second time and he said no. but really in a cheeky tone. I then said OK, whether he knows where you can withdraw money from a bank here. He said no, no idea. We went out to withdraw money because we were really craving this pizza. it smelled good. After 10 minutes we came back and discovered an ATM inside the shop at the entrance. My wife asked him in our native language why he said he had no idea when there was even a vending machine in his shop. He meant an ATM but not a bank. Very cheekily and then ignored us. We thought that would be fine and then ordered some pizza. We didn't want to ruin our vacation because of such a bitter boss. now comes the coronation. the pizza was completely burnt. In terms of taste, it would have been delicious, but unfortunately not if the bottom was fried. we asked him for a normal piece. He said in America it's normal that it's black, he can happily throw it away but there's no new one. and better we go eat somewhere else. So really a cheeky shop owner who is frustrated. That's the man in red, he said this is his shop. Very...
Read moreWhen I first went into their shop, I said to myself: "Its a bit small yet cozy." Considered that I was not in a rush I was therefore able to pay attention to the details that was displayed. The pizza is not bad for a $1. I know a lot of people are indifferent when it comes to a slice of pizza that is just a dollar. I was actually surprised that the pizza was only a dollar since it is in time square downtown Manhattan. But it was good, the slices are not as big as you think. I'm pretty sure that if the slices was big, so would the price lol. The cashier was pretty nice and fast (typical cashiers in a pizza restaurant) The only thing that I must complain about is that there is no chairs, no seatings anywhere whatsoever. That was a let down, if you decided to dine down there, guess what? You would be standing their like a horse eating hay. But all and all, the pizza is good, the shop is ok, it's not the best and it's not the worst, its just good the way it is at. It does not hurt to renovate the shop but I cant complain other than it not having...
Read moreWent around 6pm I think, was busy but not super busy. The service was polite and quick. The place is low ceiling, hot as there doesn't seem to be air conditioning (makes me feel bad for the employees =() but there is a fan, and no seats - however frankly the last two things are quite common for pizza places such as this. What isn't common tho, is the DELICIOUS and GREAT QUALITY pizza here!!! I had two plain pizzas and both were what I look for in any pizza, from a cheap pizzeria or otherwise! The slices were thick, the crust crunchy but still raised/somewhat bubbly and not thin. The seasoning just right - not too much or little, and the cheese and sauce each individually flavorful and not too stiff. The slices were not dry even after waiting for a short time for them to cool down, but also not excessively greasy to require dabbing with a napkin. I HIGHLY recommend this place and hope to come back when I'm in the area! Yummy pizza like this is hard to find, especially...
