7 Bagels & Deli — Restaurant in New York

I found this little hidden gem about 3yrs ago, after I started to work around the area. This place not only makes, so far great bagels in queens, but their staff know how to prepare a bagel. Once they get to know you they are VERY friendly, even as I type this I want to visit and get my order. I no longer work in the area, i am about 10 miles away now, but from time to time I do visit this place to get my usual order. SERVICE & PRODUCT go hand on hand in this place, I really hope the owner appreciates his staff. Trust me, YOU are lucky! Last time I passed by, as I waited, one of the guys that works there passed by me and said, "bacon, egg and mozzarella?" That right there, it's a golden ticket to keep customers; happy and loyal. I was really in the mood for a breakfast sandwich which lead me here.

The lunch/sandwich menu is pretty extensive so I would consider coming back to try some of these. However, I was on a mission for an egg white & cheese wrap of some kind, so added pastrami. In fairness, to judge this place in totality I should have gotten a bagel. The price for what I ordered was pretty reasonable for the area. It was okay. My biggest gripe is that the wrap was a bit thin. There were may two slices of pastrami? The egg whites and cheese were good but in the end it was much less substantial of a meal than I was expecting.

This place is absolutely terrible. The only thing worse than the food is their service. I placed a delivery order and told the phone guy I would like to pay by card. I also asked for the total. The guy responded "call me back in 5 minutes I have too many customers in front of me to tell you the total and another guy will take your card info". I call him back 15 minutes later, only to be rudely told that they do not accept debit cards over the phone and I had to go to grub hub and that they never intended on making my food. When I told the guy on the phone I had already been waiting for 15 minutes and why wouldn't you let me know from the beginning, he rudely said to me "I told you the options, do what you want" I will never be calling this place again....
