Pollos Cuzco — Restaurant in New York

Very disappointing experience. Normally, you can choose how much tip to leave, but at this restaurant they don’t give you the option — they automatically charge 18% tip without clearly notifying you at the end.

The food wasn’t good. I ordered bistec a lo pobre and didn’t even get a proper knife to cut it. I also made a mistake ordering a drink and asked the waiter if I could switch it (saying I’d still pay if not). He just took the drink without replying and then charged me anyway.

On top of that, there was a guy singing like a karaoke or live event, and honestly it was way too loud. You couldn’t even have a proper conversation at the table. What was supposed to be a calm dinner turned into an uncomfortable, noisy evening.

Service was indifferent and inattentive. For the prices they charge, I expected much better. Won’t be...
