Sadly the chocolate rugalach was old and stale. Hard as a rock and crumbling when they should be soft and chewy. The Italian cookies were ok. I spent almost $10 here and some of the cookies needed to go in trash. The gal was nice but didn’t know how to give a 1/2 lb of assorted cookies so the customer gets one or two of what they want. . I did return to give them another try and must say that the iced coffee was pretty good and the biscotti was authentic with a hint of annisette. Made this Italian gal happy. I did go back the week before Easter to get the Easter Egg bread and it was very reasonably priced and delicious. The bread had REAL eggs on it, not plastic like so many bakeries do lately. It was wrapped in very nicely clear cellophane for the holiday and would make a lovely Easter gift. I enjoyed the bread heated just a few seconds in the microwave.

Update: Decided to revisit again and it was even more disappointing than the first 2 times. The chocolate fudge had orange liqueur which took away from the chocolate and the pumpkin caramel cheesecake was so stale/ bitter that I threw it out. It was really disappointing since they all look so delicious. Revisiting this bakery after years since they first opened. It tastes about the same. I got a few things. The chocolate fudge cake was just ok. Cake was dense and dry on the bottom layer. It's lacking the fudge flavor. The almond croissant is heavy, dense and moist but missing the distinct almond flavor never the less all the sliced almonds on top. The butter cookies were good. I particularly liked the rugelach. They were very flavorful and buttery. I would come back again. This place has room for potential.

I have been here a couple of times prior and it’s been ok, I work for a Italian Restaurant that makes everything fresh from scratch so I know what to expect. I have purchased cakes from here before and they don’t seem fresh at all, they won’t last a couple of hours in the fridge without tasting off, moldy, old or watery. Today, just like 30 mins ago I purchased a slice of plain cheesecake and a brownie. I have never been so disgusted with the flavor of a cheesecake before, it tasted like when it has been so long in the fridge and it starts sucking the flavor of everything in the fridge and my brownie tasted and looked like a chunk of sand. Very hard, very grainy not a moist- gooey brownie at all. This place is definitely going downhill. Please don’t sell old pastries is disgusting!

GIRL AT COUNTER WAS SO RUDE. I definitely wanted to get her name to make this whole review for her. When I asked for it she seemed like she didn’t want to tell me, wasn’t even making eye contact while rolling her eyes and I couldn’t even understand her. I believe I heard Itsy or Izzie. I was excited to try this place out. I wanted vanilla cupcakes, so I went to handy dandy google and Yelp. I found this place and decided to head there. Store looked cute, clean and the food looked unique. Now I don’t know if this chick had a bad day or didn’t want to work there, but THERE WAS NO NEED for her to have a stank attitude. Why do you work there if you’re not friendly, patient or pleasant. The way she handled my order, I’m sure you’re losing a lot of customers. I said do you have vanilla cupcakes and with her crusty attitude she was like no we only got chocolate and Oreo. She didn’t tell me when they would have vanilla or even have decent customer service skills to seem empathetic. She didn’t suggest anything else and made it seem like I’m taking up her time. Please fire her and get better customer service. You definitely lost me as a customer and I will NOT be advertising or promoting this place to anyone... Terrible experience here first time. Don’t go here unless you like bratty, unprofessional, dusted females that have ZERO customer service. I don’t understand how she even got this job. You’re around pastries and cupcakes all day, lighten up... on a side note, there was this older lady that took the guy’s order behind me and she was delightful! She was naming desserts left and right and smiley! Too bad I didn’t have her take my order. I didn’t even want to eat the desserts I got because she ruined the whole...

Had a very bad experience with this Bakery first to start off. I'm a local in the area and I said let me give this Bakery a try . So I purchase a strawberry shortcake cake for our anniversary I asked a girl if the cake was fresh she told me yes . but totally not the cake was old and stale. which the next day i returned the cake and they did gave me a new and fresh cake. So from that experience I was always 50/50 but since they are the local bakery I said let me give them a try I pre-ordered my daughters third birthday cake 3 weeks before the party date now the morning of the party which March 31st on the receipt I order it for 9 a.m. I called the day before confirm and told them I was going to get there between 10am /10:30am they to me no problem when I arrive the day of pickup and at 10:30 the cake was not there they told me that the driver was on his way but the cake was going to get there at 11:30 which my daughter party was at 12:00 and it was out in the Long Island. I will never use them again they did refund back my money because I demanded it .but I didn't have the PJ masks cake that I ordered specifically for my daughter's birthday party. I think the staff is very unprofessional the way how they handle that situation was completely wrong because they just stood there and told me the cake is not herem and the driver was come at 11:30 and walked away and then I explain to them why the cake was not there when it was order for the morning my parties at noon and they just stood there. And walked away handing other customers and you would think that the manager or the owner will call me back and no one ever did unprofessional unprofessional...

I walked in here and every pastry is winking at you, beckoning you. They all look so tempting and yummy behind the glass encasement, flirting with you saying “pick me, pick me.” Their pastries are truly a feast for the eyes. And that my dear friends, is where the feast ends. I’ve been here twice now, thinking the first time was maybe just a “broken fridge day, so pastries tasted kind of stale.” But 3 months later, and now on my 2nd visit and having bought THREE pastries this week, I can’t attest that, no, across the board their pastries just taste… off. Slightly stale, moldy. Even sour. I bought a napoleon, red velvet cake and amaretto mouse pastry. My 5yo bit into the napoleon and she scrunched her face: “mommy this tastes like glue.” Sure enough it tasted kind of sour and gelatinous, not creamy or custardy… just glue-y. The chocolate icing on the amaretto mouse thing was gelatinous and hard to cut with my fork, not crunchy or chocolatey, just semi-hard glue-y. I’m giving them 2 stars because I’m feeling generous: one because they nailed “looking good” and the 2nd because their staff was super friendly. Sadly we were home when we tried the pastries or we would’ve returned them to get our money back. This place is going downhill judging by the lack of freshness or attention. Do not be fooled by “sexy-looking” pastries that taste...
