Firstly, Laurence warmly welcomed us to 7th Street Burger, UES. We received and appreciated his gentle spirit and respectful smile. His colleague, another young man who stood near him, was also nice, though - unfortunately - I didn’t get his name. I often think that, when one goes to a food establishment, the welcome is - over - half the battle (of winning over the customer); so, in this case, the battle was almost won, before we even made our order! : )
Secondly, the food was delicious. But first, some context: My spouse and I came in at around 2:30 PM - on a Saturday - thinking that the lunch crowd would have died down by then. Not so! The five tables in this location were not enough to accommodate everyone, and several people stood waiting with their food in hand, until a table opened up for them. I am certainly not predicting a lack of foot traffic here! They’re already quite popular at this new UES location, which is great for them and will perhaps help to cultivate the virtue of patience in us.
With that said, the burgers, as usual, were bursting with flavor — and the fries were abundant and crispy. My spouse enjoyed a double cheeseburger (meat-based), and I enjoyed a double impossible burger (vegetarian), and we both ordered fries (and bottles of water). The fries were plentiful - wow. I must share that this business’ main competitor, whose initials might be “SS,” doesn’t offer fries in such an abundant portion. I mean, the way that 7th Street Burger serves up fries is very generous.
The only “constructive criticism” I would humbly give is as follows: For me, as I tried to wind down on a Saturday (from a busy workweek), I found that the music played there was too intense for my liking. It was a lot of fast beats, which is fun on the dance floor, yet not so much when I’m trying to chill — and chew. : ) Maybe you all could explore playing some old-school reggae or jazz….almost anything instrumentally-based would be more relaxing for this big-city gal. Thanks for a lovely experience, and continued good luck with your blossoming business!...
Read moreWow. This may by my favorite burger place I’ve eaten at so far! They don’t do anything fancy, just a standard burger, but they do it to perfection!
Their menu consists of a cheeseburger (can make it a double), an impossible burger, a grilled cheese, fries, and either water or a Mexican Coke(glass bottle Coke).
We got double cheeseburgers that come with grilled onions, pickles, and a tangy and creamy house sauce.
The burgers are going to be pretty greasy, but it’s done tastefully. The burgers are smashed thin, allowing for the charred texture and flavor permeate the entire surface of the meat. The onions are so sweet, and the pickles add a great bite and acidity to the sandwich as a whole. Absolutely stunning.
The French fries are also incredible. These fires must be double fried because they stay so crispy even when traveling in a bag long distances. They are also salted well and have a lot of flavor.
I also really appreciate how they serve glass bottle Coke. Honestly, Coke taste the best out of a glass bottle.
The staff were extremely friendly throughout our arrival to the restaurant. This is a super small establishment that does not have any indoor seating, however it does have a small standing area with a long, narrow table on the wall. And there is additional outside seating.
Overall disposure in the absolutely fantasy experience that puts this restaurant as my number one burger spot...

First of all, Dom and Noah are incredible!!! They are so so friendly, so helpful and sooo polite, professional, and their vibe was just radiant. Loved meeting them and that, for me, is as important as the food!!
Food wise: 15/10 & I can’t complain!!! Their burgers are one of my favorite because they are packed with so much flavor and love!!! Their fries are above anything else!!! They were crispy but soft, perfect for me, and flavorful, deliciously made, bathed in their mouthwatering sauce and perfectly paired with the meat and onions, I love them!!!!!!
Location wise: loved the fact that they have the outside seating!!! My boyfriend didn’t want to seat outside because it was hot but I made him do it anywaysss. The streets are loud and everything, but it felt good to seat outside and enjoy a delicious meal while everyone passing by was staring at my food and desiring they were having it. Plus, we don’t get to seat outside during the winter so enjoy nature and the chance to do it while you can.
