HORRIBLE HOSPITALITY SERVICE -_-
I ordered a seamless delivery at 6 am before my 7 am shift. My order was scheduled to be at my job no later than 615 am. I get a call at 615 from a hotel that my food is there; I call the restaurant and the gentleman over the phone is telling me I do not know my own work address and delivery guy is super smart. What really disappoint me was the fact the guy was trying to tell me he is right and i am wrong; and kept ignoring the question if they were going to get my food from the wrong address and bring it to my correct address and he simply said called seamless honey. I truly did not want to start my morning with this horrible customer service- so I did call seamless- Oliver the agent (was super helpful) and I explained to Oliver the story and he said I have to call the restaurant to hear both sides of the story's- I said go right ahead but I warn you Oliver that ridiculous man over the phone is going to tell you they are right and I am wrong. Oliver called me back within 5 minutes and the first thing he said was "you were absolutely right about those people" . Then Oliver told me that I should definitely right a review about this people who do not understand the concept of comprise or customer service. Do not order online at this place!!!
If you want to deal with someone telling you that they are better than you when you are supporting their business- don't...
Read moreCame back to this place before Christmas. I decided to try it again because they sell this overpriced ginger drink that helps with overall health, and with the flu, RSV & Covid on the rise, I’d rather be safe than sorry. I purchased the drink from them on 3 occasions. First 2 occasions I was given the wrong change by a noticeable amount. So I made sure to pay attention the 3rd time I purchased. And when I mentioned that it was the 3rd time getting the wrong change, the owners son ( who smokes cigarettes all day and then goes behind the counter to touch things) yells out “ are you really complaining over 1 penny!? 1 cent” I asked him to repeat himself and he did. So I told him it was actually 47 cents. And if they took 47 cents from every paying customer with their items already being overpriced then they are literally robbing people. Also Some of the people who take your money behind the counter will address the white customers before the black ones. Stood at the counter for 8 mins waiting to be rung up for one item which is super overpriced while white customers walked in and out with their items. This happened 5/12/2021 around 2 PM. Cashier was a woman. Never seen her before. Usually have a decent experience with the older male that works there and another young woman. The others give you a vibe that they're doing you a favor by selling...
Read moreFair Warning: Be prepared to pack a lot of patience and have adequate time before coming to this Deli and order a sandwich for breakfast.
This deli gets packed with NYPD officers coming from across the street and ordering in bulk. For whatever reason, they will prioritize the officers before they get to your order. In other words, you are going to get skipped.
The deli guy seems to only be able to make one sandwich at a time from what I have seen. Despite his calm and friendly demeanor, he is already fatigued by the time 7am rolls around. This deli should be a two man operation handling orders with one cashier.
The deli guy for some reason likes to cook the bacon at approx 5:30-6am when it is becoming busy. I do not know why but the bacon should be ready by 5am if that. Then he has to clean the grill throughly before taking orders. Which is approx 10 minutes...
If you are willing to wait 20 minutes approx for your breakfast sandwich and developed some form of relationship with this deli, then by all means go for it. After all, I think it is the only one open in the area 24 hours. Again I THINK. Large selection of items as well.
If you need your sandwich quick and fast to get to work, AVOID THIS PLACE at all cost. It is not worth it and the amount of orders they get is shocking.
The neighborhood? A few junkies roaming...
