Airways Pizza Restaurant — Restaurant in New York

On my last review I talked about the constant fluctuation of prices. You buy the same items twice and your bill always changes plus the price is never consistent with menu prices. Anyway, I decided to give it another try today. I ordered a Cesar Salad and Chicken Roll. Both the paper menu and chalkboard say $9.00 for the salad. This time I decided to ask for a receipt and unsurprisingly they are still at it!!! They charged me $10.00 not $9.00. When I questioned the price, I was given the same lame excuse as last time that prices change. So, why not update your Chalkboard at the very least? It’s easy to erase magic marker. I feel that there is definitely a purposeful scheme and a pattern with this business. I recommend staying away or checking your receipts. Totally rip off business. This is my last time going there! Random walk-in afternoon. I sat and ordered a bowl 🍜 of chicken noodle soup and this homemade soup (as the kids say) 'Da Bomb' meaning it was excellent 👌🏼 served with 3 mini rolls. A bottle of Poland Spring water 💦 to refresh and then came the Chicken Parmesan platter with Ziti. I already felt full with the soup. Looking at that platter was amazing. I nibbled on the chicken and ziti before I asked it be wrapped to take home.The chicken was cooked well (as I love ❣️) the Ziti and that sauce 👌🏼I never tasted a flavorful, thick sauce. It has to be the best in New York City (and I have tasted many different sauces) Thick and plentiful 😲 Thankfully, I was able to share the dish with a friend who was bowled over on the fresh quality of this platter. I used to go here a lot like 8 years ago. Today is 2023 and let me tell you I have eaten in a lot of pizza spots in the city where they claim to have the best pizza. This is the best spot in QUEENS!!! If you get a chicken slice your slice is gonna be stuffed. I highly recommend any chicken slice. Their regular is great too. Grandma as well. But every time I come here I get the Buffalo chicken slice and chicken Marsala slice. Trust me when you see it from the outside you might question the pizza but look at how much chicken they give you. Definitely need to try this place. I’m not getting any compensation from this.
