She kept everything running smoothly, asked the important questions, and made sure we got the meaningful shots that we otherwise would have missed out on.

Even our family and friends couldn’t stop talking about how incredible she is — from how fun and easy she made everything on the wedding day, to everyone freaking out seeing the photos for the first time and being blown away by how beautifully she captured every moment. So many of our friends were amazed looking through the photos saying, “Wait, Lucie was at the after party?!” — she was the PERFECT mix of fully present for us and our families/friends, while somehow still blending into the background and capturing moments no one even realized she was there for in real-time. Words can't really do justice to the experience that Lucie gifted my husband and I with. Like so many other couples, we had to postpone our wedding celebration during the pandemic. We never planned to get married in Brooklyn but with all the uncertainty, we didn't want to delay our nuptials any further. I planned my "mini-mony" in Brooklyn within 5 weeks and found Lucie on instagram.

On the day of our wedding, it was drizzling, cloudy, and generally gloomy. Lucie was so empathetic and prepared in every way. She kept our spirits up and even told us that the fog and clouds added a beautiful layer of depth to our photos. My husband and I were totally clueless and didn't have any poses in mind but she took care of everything. When we were laughing in our photos, it was because she made it such a joyful experience.

I truly felt so care-free as a bride because she was so on top of everything. She made sure we got every shot (and more) that we wanted. We had the best day of our lives and less than 24 hours later, I already had around 8 gorgeous photos in my inbox that she surprised us with as a "preview." I literally can't say enough about Lucie. There is endless praise I could give Lucie for her photos and the entire experience of working with her! From the start to finish, she was so enjoyable as a person to work with and her process was fun, easy and super professional. She put so much care and creativity into our engagement shoot and made us feel so comfortable during the shoot. And the photos were absolutely phenomenal!! Then on to the wedding day… Lucie was an icon. The day was super sunny, so she quickly pivoted and had a plan B for any circumstance that arose. Her style of photography is so fun and she manages to capture the essence of the day so wonderfully. Looking back through our wedding photos, I felt like I was right back in the moment by the way the picture captured so many emotions. I loved how she captured details and moments that I personally missed on the day, and was able to experience when we got our photos. Beyond her incredible work, she is such a positive and enjoyable person to be around, and I had fun on a personal level with her on the big day!
