I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ambrosia Garden while celebrating my birthday in NYC, and I can confidently say it was one of the best experiences I've ever had! This was my first time trying Greek food, and it certainly set the bar high.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, with beautiful decor that transported me straight to a charming taverna in Greece. The staff was exceptional—so attentive and friendly, making sure we felt right at home. Their recommendations were spot on, and they genuinely seemed to care about making our experience unforgettable.

Now, let's talk about the food! Each dish was a delightful blend of flavors, showcasing the richness of Greek cuisine. I savored every bite, from the meze to the main course; everything was simply amazing. The freshness of the ingredients really shone through, and I found myself wanting to try more!

As if the meal wasn’t perfect enough, to my surprise, each guest was treated to a slice of their homemade orange cake. It was the perfect sweet ending to an already fantastic evening—light, zesty, and oh-so-delicious!

I truly couldn't ask for a better birthday experience. Ambrosia Garden has captured my heart, and I can’t wait to return to NYC just to visit this gem again. If you're looking for a taste of Greece with impeccable service, do yourself a favor and make a reservation at Ambrosia Garden. You...

I had a fantastic experience this afternoon @ Ambrosia Garden in Astoria. I received a very warm welcome from Niko and proceeded to sit in the garden which was beautiful and just perfect with the AC blasting. I started with Greek sparkling water & the 3 dip spread -tzatziki, Tirokateri (spicy feta dip) and eggplant dip accompanied with warm pita. All 3 dips were fresh and delicious and you could see the chef put a lot of love into each of these as they were garnished very nicely and all 3 were yummy!! Niko recommended the Youvetsi dish which was absolutely delicious and covered with mizithra cheese. The meat was perfectly cooked and the orzo was extremely tasty. Niko also suggested I try a glass of the Costa Lazaridi Malagouzia which was perfect on this hot summer day. To top it off, I had the best portokalopita (Greek orange pie)that I’ve ever had in my life 10/10. The food, the atmosphere and Niko made for an amazing lunch experience and I can’t wait to go back and try everything on the menu. Highly recommended-check it out and you can...

Just finished a truly wonderful lunch at Ambrosia Garden, an authentic Greek gem that transports you straight to the Mediterranean. The ambiance is warm and traditional, but it’s the food that truly steals the show.

We started with a special of crispy fried zucchini paired with velvety Greek yogurt—light, golden, and perfectly seasoned. Then came the bouyiourdi, a baked feta dish served bubbling hot in a clay pot with sweet bell peppers and tomatoes. The blend of creamy, salty, and sweet was absolutely addictive.

For the main course, I had the “Arni”, a slow-roasted lamb shoulder served with herbed potatoes. It was melt-in-your-mouth tender, seasoned to perfection, and full of deep, rich flavor. Each bite felt like it had been cooked with love and tradition.

Ambrosia Garden is a must-visit for anyone craving true Greek comfort food. I’ll definitely be coming back.

It’s rainy day and this food and music and service are just amazing ❤️
