We went on a Sunday lunch to try again the food but this time indoor. Because we ordered couple weeks ago and was really good. First, service is not attentive. They took our ordered around 1:14pm and our food came at 1:55pm. We only ordered one entree with a side. How could something like that take so long! Second: I asked after 35min of wait if they gonna take longer and they went to check if they’re doing it. The guy told me that usually the dish takes 15-25min. Oh right I understand that but 35min of wait? Plus after I asked they took another 10min??? After that he came back with two small glasses of champagne mixed with orange juice.🙃 I didn’t know what was his real intention because he literally only gave us the glasses in our hands and then he left our table. He didn’t even said: oh this is for the wait time or sorry but they’re doing your dish now. Then after that, we wait for another period and, I had enough of the situation so I asked him for the check and he literally told me: oh the chef is serving it right now, you wanna cancel it or ask for take out? 🤦🏻♀️ really??? You made us wait 45min total and then you ask us if we want to take out the food! Anyways my partner was already so disappointed so he decided to eat the food at the restaurant and then just ask for the check. We ate half of the pasta and then we take it out. I was very excited to come back but after this service. Never. PD: they charged us in the start one dessert that we never ordered, thanks god we realized and we told them to removed it from our ticket. Even that was so disappointing. 1 star because the coffee was really...
Read moreGreat experience dining here. We were sat in the covered outdoor section in the back of the restaurant and you cannot tell you're outside. We went during the cold front and it was not chilly at all. On to the food
We ordered escargot and foie gras as starters. The escargot was delicious! It's cooked in a Pesto sauce and the sauce on its own is amazing as well-I used the bread given to soak with the Pesto. It's that good.
It was my first time trying foie gras and personally do not like the taste, this isn't an issue with the establishment. It's on the bitter side and seems to be wrapped in butter? The butter taste is removed once you spread it on bread, I was just curious to what it was wrapped with.
I ordered the cotelettes d'agneau and my friend ordered the boeuf bourguingnon. Both portions are plentiful and tasty. The lamb is well seasoned and does not have the gamey flavor sometimes associated with lamb. The beef in the boeuf bourguingnon is juicy and the pasta is cooked al dente, which is perfect in my opinion. Looking forward to trying...
Read moreI wanted to feel the atmosphere of a Parisian café, this place doesn’t disappoint. Aside from needing a bit of decor to complete the feeling while enjoying a nice delectable meal. I was greeted at the door and offered various choices of seating outside, inside or in the back patio. I chose the garden patio although I wouldn’t call it garden since there was only one plant. A few ornamental plants would give you the feeling of a country bistro. The waiter was busy but acknowledged our presence and promised to be with us soon. We were handed menus promptly and it was followed by a quick order taken. I had the cold Asparagus soup that was delightful and met my expectations, the main course was the Mussels and fries. My companion had a burger. Both meals were cooked perfectly and I could see around me dishes that reminded me of being in Paris. Deserts were delicious with the regular expected crème brûlée and apple tart among others. I definitely want to go back and try the rest of the menu. Service was efficient...
