One of the worst experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in midtown. First, we get seated and our waitress leity comes & we smile at her and she just has a straight attitude from the start for no reason what so ever. We asked for water and she rolled her eyes and only brought one. We ordered a few apps: calamari, Guac & chips & truffle fries. The food was terrible. The calamari tasted like well done toast (literally), the Guac you can tell the avocado wasn’t ready and was just chunks of avocado and tomato. The waitress did not come back once after bringing the water to check on us, but went to every single one of her other tables smiling and checking on them. After about an hour I had to literally yell “excuse me” to her bc she wouldn’t look at us or come to us otherwise to ask for the check. When I did, she stopped, stood there a moment with her back to us, took a deep huff, rolled her eyes again & came over not saying a word. I couldn’t believe the experience. Very...

My review is not for the food but my friend and I came at 5 on a Saturday and we hadn’t seen each other in a year and a half so figuring this is a good spot to sit and catch up. Walking in there were no tables as if they just opened (business hours 11am-2am) Within the last half hour we were there the server continuously kept coming back to our table as if we were being rushed out and we were still the only table there. Had only seen 2 other parties come in during our time. By 6:30 we were told last call for food and drink if we wanted to order (we were only there hour and a half and it was 6:30 pm on a Saturday?). There was no communication as to why they were closing so early and we even walked past a big chalk sign leaving that said “kitchen open all day”....

Friday afternoon 4pm went in very few people (nice). I ordered a burger without cheese, my husband a chilly con carne My burger arrived smothered with cheese, French fries were burned. Served 1/2 a bun with dead salad & old tomato. My husband did not get the sour cream. Thankfully our waiter was very nice & deducted burger from bill. He said he has complained to the manager about the kitchen staff numerous times about how they do not read or listen to the orders & never serve the sour cream. If they can not get a order right of cook the food correctly during a quiet time, boy I would hate to go in there...

A pub with a more upbeat and classy appearance, Annie Moore's is a bit higher on the price tag than some of the other pubs in the area. The menu is similar to several other establishments, but the decor is a little less old-timey and wooden. You have a somewhat glitzy feeling experience at the bar, and the bartender was an excellent and mindful gentleman. I had the steak with mash. It was a good portion for the price and I left full. The cook was as I ordered and the potatoes were decently fluffy without being gummy or too dense. Overall, it was a very rich dish as one would expect.

Pretty good food and had a nice vibe. Definitely recommend the spinach and feta dip. The fried calamari was also super delicious. Their cocktails are fantastic. Menu has a lot of variety and all the ones we tried were very tasty. Service was ok! Got ignored a few times by the waitress so could’ve been better in that aspect. Would not mind stopping by again regardless. Now for my standard COVID comments as of March 2022. Gets a little crowded especially during happy hour times. Still did not feel too suffocating thankfully. Was comfortable enough to sit and eat indoors.
