Pros: - decent bagels, not the greatest but they’ll do - fast lines on a weekend, or order ahead - good selection of beverages etc. - usually clean, lots of tables for a small place, quick turnover Cons: - checkout process is chaotic, manual cc machine with signed receipts - staff in charge of credit cards sometimes associates customer w/incorrect order and can be challenging to rectify order/customer in busy environment - in my experience, even simple orders are frequently incorrect —> e.g., today I ordered a toasted pumpernickel with scallion cream cheese. Got home - not toasted, with plain cream cheese —> *always* check both your bag and receipt before leaving (was in a hurry so I forgot)

The bagel tasted okay, but it was microsized. Literally the smallest bagel I have ever eaten, not worth $20 bucks and I don't care what inflation is these days or the fact it is Manhattan. Manhattan is supposed to represent quality and this ain't it. Would not recommend this place unless you don't mind being charged double the price of what you would pay anywhere else in New York State for something the size of an Oreo cookie.

Are you serious?? I was one of two customers in the store, and this is what I got. I’ve gone back several times because it’s closer than tal bagels but the bagels are tiny, always a mess, and half full of whatever I asked for. They may be fast and you may not have to wait long for your order but this is what you’ll end up with. Never again 😒

I have frequented this establishment on multiple occasions and have found their food, bagels, and coffee to be quite enjoyable. However, I am disappointed by the level of service provided. During my visits, I have not once had a positive experience.

On my initial visit, I encountered confusion regarding the order placement process, as it seemed that orders were being taken from three different locations within the shop. Upon reaching the front to pay, I was ignored by the man at the register, who appeared to be more focused on taking other orders. When he finally acknowledged me, he rushed through the transaction without giving me proper attention.

During my most recent visit, I had hoped for a different experience, but unfortunately, I encountered the same individual with the same dismissive attitude. He took orders from the people behind me on the line and after making me wait, he failed to ask for my order directly, instead inquiring about it in Spanish to a colleague as if I could not understand. He resumed to look at me or listen to me , this lack of respect and courtesy was extremely disappointing. This wasn’t a question of race as I am a Latina.

It is important to remember that everyone faces challenges in their lives, and it is unacceptable to treat others as if they are invisible. The rudeness and disrespect shown to me, including the lack of eye contact, left me feeling disheartened. What if I had wanted to order something else? This experience has left me with a negative impression of the establishment. This man should not be at the front of the store if he can’t handle...

We have lived in the area for 5 years and this has been our go to place due to my wife enjoying the ice coffee and bagels. Unfortunately today we agree that we will no longer return.

A few weeks ago we decided to stop heading into the store and started ordering online , due to the fact the guys are too busy asking what else you want and not listening to what you are asking for and as a result messing up nearly every order we ever made. It actually was turning into a stressful event making an in-store order. Today we had our 3rd online delivery where the order is not acceptable. The ice coffee - didn't come with Splenda requested (clearly on the order) and was spilled all over the bag on delivery, soaking the other items. The bagel my wife requested was not toasted or at very best extremely lightly toasted. The everything bagel I ordered, Sunnyside eggs, was a regular bagel and cut in half to make sure the egg was smashed all accross the bagel on delivery. Again, wrong items and poorly delivered.

Unfortunately when our orders are between 30 and 40 dollars every time, it is not worth the disappointment and hassle in rearranging the items after delivery. The in store experience is not desirable.

Food generally pretty good and staff are courteous enough, but the process needs to change and become a little more focussed on detail. Due to there being so many options, it is Important that you deliver what is requested and not...

The men that work here are disrespectful and will get into a screaming match with you over their mistakes. I stopped giving my money to this establishment a while ago and didn't learn my lesson the first time and placed an order after the first horrible experience. "Ricardo," (if thats his real name) on the phone got into a screaming match when I called to report the missing item from my order and refused to give me a refund or replace the item. This place is employed by criminals and owned by thieves apparently since there is never a manager on duty and the response for any issues brought up is to call the next morning. Sadly I paid cash so I cant even dispute this charge. Go elsewhere the bagels are not worth the garbage customer service you have endure. Go to the Bagel Shop...
