The Best Cappuccino in the World – A Chef’s Honest Review

As a professional chef who has traveled across nearly the entire world and all 48 states of the United States, I can say without hesitation: this was the best cappuccino I have ever had.

From the first sip, I could taste something far beyond just technique — it was made with pure passion and love. The balance of richness, smoothness, the perfect froth, and deep flavor was simply unmatched. I don’t know how he crafted it, but I do know this: it wasn’t just coffee — it was an experience, a masterpiece in a cup.

As someone who has spent a lifetime tasting the finest, I am proud to say this gentleman has created a cappuccino that belongs at the very top of the world. Absolutely unforgettable. I would travel again just for this one cup. Thank you for reminding me what true craftsmanship tastes like.

Drury Coffee is a small but cozy coffee store that should not be overlooked. 1st visit and I really enjoyed the atmosphere and coffee. My partner and I ordered the Iced Mocha, and "Matcha'n", both were good and not overly sweet, both were smooth, not bitter, and good in taste. I'm not that much of a fan of Matcha, but this twist on the drink with the Matcha'n is great, but it's a secret, so do come in and ask for their special!

Food was not purchased this trip, but everything offered looks good and has a great presentation!

Last but not least, the staff is very welcoming and friendly, nothing about my visit felt pressured and not once did I feel unwelcomed unlike in some big coffee chain shops.

Come for the coffee, food, and pastries, and stay a while...

Decided to take the train and check out this coffee shop in Sheepshead Bay. It is super easy to get to, just off the Q/B line. The vibes are great, with chill music playing in the background of the shop. When I saw they serve brewed Turkish coffee, I knew the coffee game would be strong and it was! I had a delicious iced latte (they offer non-dairy milks, which is a plus), and the pound cake was surprisingly moist with just the right amount of lemon icing which was not too sweet or overpowering. There’s outdoor seating too, which is a nice touch. It’s a bit busy with street traffic nearby, but still relaxing in its own way. Definitely...

Update: 9/17/25 Still obsessed with the matcha special "matcha'N"! Narrow, but neat and chic cafe. RIGHT off the B/Q line. I've gotten two matcha lattes two days in a row,and both were tasty! One with oatmilk. Thick and creamy! I might recommend the special "matcha'n"! (With regular milk--delish...just sweet enough) The potato bored was yummy, flakes and the meat bored was spiced perfectly!
