Bagels Road — Restaurant in New York

Bagels Road has always been my husband's and my go-to spot because of their delicious food and good customer service. Today, they went above and beyond. I ordered a BR bagel for me to pick up before work. Cynthia called me twice to let me know that they didn't have the cream cheese I wanted and offered me substitutes. I didn't hear her the first time because my phone was already on 'Do Not Disturb' mode, but she tried again, and her call finally went through. Excellent customer service! I don't expect most places to be as persistent. Kudos to her!

My husband and I love Bagels Road. The food is always fresh and delicious. When we want food delivered to our apartment fast, we place an order for Bagels Road. When I'm short on time and need to grab breakfast on the way to work, Bagels Road hands me my pick-up order the minute I walk through their door. Not only that, they are always so nice and smiling.

Such a gem in Sheepshead Bay! We are loyal customers. Thank you for the valuable service...

I would give this place zero stars if I could. The food is ok and I would rate it a 2.5 based on food, although seeing Mozzarelle cheese with mold behind the glass counter and fruits which should have been disposed days ago is disturbing. Came here last week to buy a bagel. Stood in line for 13 minutes while the person behind the counter took the guy behind me...I didn't say anything and gave it the benefit of the doubt...same guy skipped me again taking the order of the girl behind me..this time I said something. His response was that the line was 6 inches behind me and by me standing 6 inches in front he assumed that I wasn't standing online. Instead of simple apologizing for his obvious mistake, he continued to be rude and argue. I addressed this issue with the owner/manager who also kept arguing and being rude. DO NOT go here, there is an amazing bagel store called Bagel Boy a block away where food is always great and...

We've been ordering a lot lately from this place. Half of the time the orders are wrong, but that could happened to anyone. Today we ordered an oatmeal with milk and bananas! Sounds sooo yummy! What I received was milk with bananas and few oats swimming in this warm milky liquid. So I decided to call and ask for a replacement. What I was told was that "this is how the morning guys made it" and that there isn't anything they can do about it? I asked for a grilled cheese instead and told the man on the phone that things happen and we can go pass this after they deliver my sandwich, but the guy said that he will have to charge me again for this and wont return my money for the oatmeal. because he isn't authorized to make these kind of decisions. I asked for a manager who conveniently wasn't there. My sandwich was never delivered. Horrible experience! Stay away from this place! Unacceptable...
