Iāve had very inconsistent experiences at Blank Street Coffee, but today was the last straw. While some team members have been friendly in the past, the majority of the time the staff is more focused on talking among themselves than acknowledging customers.
What really pushed me over the edge is that my last three consecutive orders have either been wrong or mishandled. When Iāve asked about mistakes, Iāve been met with attitude or indifference. Today, I walked in to pick up a mobile order that was already marked as āprepared.ā The two male-presenting staff behind the counter didnāt acknowledge me at allāI stood there for about four minutes before speaking up. When I asked about my order, they acted annoyed, barely engaging with me while continuing their personal conversation.
What makes it worse is that I witnessed a completely different level of service extended to a white woman who walked in around the same time. The same two employees ( appeared to be minorities ) who ignored me were friendly, accommodating, and responsive to her. As a fellow minority, it was disheartening to see such a clear difference in treatment.
To make matters more frustrating, the Blank Street app offers no direct way to contact someone about these experiences, leaving customers with no real avenue for feedback.
Unfortunately, the lack of consistency, poor customer service, and uncomfortable experience at this location make it not worth returningāespecially when others have reported...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIām a coffee lover to the coreāsmall coffee shops are basically my second home. So when I stumbled into Blank Street Coffee recently, I was expecting a good cup of coffee, but I left with a life crisis instead.
First off, the staff was super friendly (like, suspiciously friendlyāwhatās in the water there?). Then I ordered a cappuccino made by Abeir, and let me tell you, that coffee was so good it made me question my entire career. Watching Abeir whip up my drink like a coffee wizard made me think, Should I ditch my job and become a barista?š
Anyway, thanks for the amazing coffee and the unintended identity crisis. Donāt be surprised if Iām back in a few months behind the counter making cappuccinos like Abeirāserving people with...

First of all, a flat white is not a latte with less milk - please teach your employees to not say they can make one when they clearly do not know what it is. Secondly, i agreed to an iced latte with less milk, but they made a full blown latte will all the extra milk that entails. When they realised the mistake, they just hid and poured out the top of the drink and gave me the diluted drink. I heard this mistake but was too much in a hurry to argue. Also as itās clearly an issue of the management for not training their workforce. If someone works behind the counter and expects the tip(which i gave), you should train them appropriately. First and last time...
