Dance With Me Soho — Attraction in New York

While lookong thru my facebook page, one day I came across this ad for a dance studio owned by some of the professionals from DWTS. How could I not inquire, since I LOVE that show. So i did and immediately i was intrigued to think "why not". Soooo i called and emailed I was torn between going to the studio in midtown or the one in Soho..... but Soho immediately contacted me back and I immediately clicked with the receptionist. So much so that I was booked for that very week. It was totally fate because I went, had my lesson and fell in love, Fell in love with dancing, with my teacher with the smile that I could not let go of. So here I am, about 3 months later and NO, i will never ever stop my lessons, never stop going. The more I go, the more I fall in love with each and every teacher and student, because eventually you start to become a family. Everyone is so super nice and talented and patient and lovely. While visiting a dear friend who takes lessons at this studio, she treated my daughter and me to a lesson with Steve. This man is the most incredible teacher. I taught school for 30 years and never reached a child as quickly as he reached my daughter and me. Within minutes he had us really believing we could be dancers. Such a positive, happy, supportive attitude! We learned dances and could actually put our steps to the music. I was amazed! It was just so much fun. Everyone at the studio was wonderful! Lucky for me, a friend recommended Dance with Me Soho when I was invited to a Dancing with the Stars style charity ballroom competition. I was planning to just learn, cram and move on. Instead, I fell in love. The staff at DWM are incredibly talented teachers, dancers, human beings. The second I step into the studio, the stress of the outside world disappears as the music begins. I've gone from a hopeful but timid beginner to competing for (and winning) trophies in multiple dance styles. I am teased for how much I smile there but I can't help it.
