Brewlita — Restaurant in New York

This is my first time to walk around Soho area and I was in search for a good coffee shop to chill, I came across to this coffee shop when I was walking around and tried their Iced Chai Latte and to my surprise it taste good. I like how local it is and how cozy their place is. I sat outside the store since it was already full inside but It was all good with me because sitting on the bench outside the store and just watching people pass by while having my Iced Chai Latte under the sun was a fun experience on a Sunday afternoon.

Staff are really friendly and accommodating and whenever I am in New York I will definitely drop by to have a cup of Iced Chai Latte.

The modern, down-to-earth alternative to the upscale Nolita shops. This spot caters to all: you don’t need to dress up to get your cappucino. Brewlita features modern art, large space, great natural lighting; and a variety of seating (couch, booth, bar seats by the windows). The barista was super friendly. The tunes were spot on (Still Woozy). The coffee: they roast beans in Brooklyn (shocker), and use a different bean for the drip vs. Espresso vs. Cold brew. Dropped by this place during our Sunday shopping trip because of the high review score. Ordered a cortado and a plain croissant. I forgot to take picture for the food but the cortado was such a sad work. There was no latte art, which is a dangerous sign if you are looking for legit espresso drinks. And it also tasted pretty sad — very heavy smoky over burnt flavor. The croissant 🥐 though! It was a surprisingly good one.
