First off I placed an order with Stussy in line as a gift and was confirmed yet after 3 weeks I never received my merchandise! I was lucky only once to reach a customer service rep that assured me I would have my delivery 8/8/19 by end of day! Shortly after I received an email from Fedex saying the same thing! Never got it on the 8th or the 9th! I attempted many times to contact Stussy customer service and never was able to reach a rep only voicemail so I left many messages and also many email and never a response! I then tried to track my order on Fedex and the status changed from delivery by end of day 8/8/19 to sticker was created pending status! I called fedex and they said they do not have the merchandise to contact the retailer which I did but never successful! I contacted my bank had the charges reversed and my funds were restored to my acct! I then called the Stussy store nearest my home which is on Spring St and I live on 25th and 1st ave! I spoke to the manager Hugo and gave him all the details and he was wonderful and set the items aside for me that I originally ordered! Arriving at the store I was greeted with such empathy to the situation and given impeccable service! I cannot express my gratitude to Hugo the manager as he was so kind and attentive to my situation! He introduced me to some staff and went above and beyond to make me believe in the integrity of the Stussy brand I have been wearing for over 30+ years! I would like him to be acknowledged and given the acclimations he deserves! He is an amazing employee and you need more people like him to uphold the reputation of the Stussy brand! Kudos to Hugo and my Stussy hats off to him and the wonderful staff at the Spring St. store here in NYC Soho!...
Read moreMost of the staff were helpful. The manager and the supervisor of this store were nice and they are open to customer feedback.
Only this one white guy in the New York merch section was so rude. When I asked for sizes he didn’t say anything and returned with that size. When I asked for another size he looked me straight in the eye and again didn’t say a word! I ended up getting another size so I even apologized for the trouble and again no words. I was so baffled. What made him speechless I don’t know but it certainly didn’t feel good. He had no trouble talking with another employee as soon as I turned my back. If you are not going to let customers touch the New York merch, at least don’t make them feel bad for trying on different sizes. Im even wondering if he was being racist and this makes me feel terrible. I regret purchasing here. Even thinking of returning the items as this shopping experience was not good.
Update) I went back to return the items but that was not possible. I spoke to the supervisor and manager of the store about my experience and they made sure I was heard. I left feeling better. I hope that moving forward no customer will have the...
Read moreI had one of the worst retail experiences ever at the Stüssy store in New York. The employees were openly talking trash about tourists, complaining how a foreign couple had to resort to using a translate device, the very people giving them business and keeping the place alive. Instead of being welcoming, they stood in the middle of the store like they owned the space, blocking customers, rolling their eyes, and throwing dirty looks at anyone who dared to shop.
When I actually tried to interact with them, the attitude was unreal. Rude responses, dismissive behavior, and zero effort to help. Asking to try on a simple T-shirt was treated like I was inconveniencing them, only to be told I couldn’t even try one on. Seriously? For a clothing store, that’s beyond ridiculous.
The whole staff came off as unprofessional, unhelpful, and downright unpleasant. Between the lack of customer service, the constant attitude, and the dirty looks, the entire vibe of this store is hostile. Honestly, don’t waste your time, there are plenty of places in New York that actually respect...
