Caribbean Mix Natural Juice Bar & Grill — Restaurant in New York

I suffer from a variety of health conditions and I cannot eat MANY foods or i trigger very painful and debilitating symptoms. I was very hungry and hoping to get something simple to eat. I asked about ingredients and oils used, and apparently frustrated the gentleman (I’m assuming he’s the owner) he snapped back with, “you know what, you ask too many questions. I don’t like people who come in here asking too many questions”

Well, i still supported his company and purchased a juice which was not a juice, it was a smoothie. I specifically asked him if he does juices as well and he said yes. It was a smoothie.

But, he was out of line telling me i cannot ask questions about food that I’m going to be putting in my body.

I will never support again, and I hope anyone else reading this who may also suffer from debilitating digestive conditions will reconsider visiting this place.

I specifically communicated early on that i have health conditions and have to avoid many foods/ingredients. Can you imagine how stressful that can be?

Total lack of compassion.

Not to mention, overpriced!! $10 for a medium...

Honestly I been here a few times and had a cool experience . But I always notice the guy will talk to you to see what you want. You tell him and he offers you to try something similar. Trying things out I don’t mind but just because I try something you have sitting in your fridge similar to what I requested doesn’t mean I want it to buy. I believe if I’m paying I expect what I asked for to be made in front of me so I know everything I asked for is being put in and made FRESHLY it’s a experience you get whenever you ordering a smoothie in person. Oh yea not to mention the smoothie is overpriced $11 for something they made hours ago... Wouldn’t stop by unless you looking for something...

The service was amazing! My husband and I are from Michigan and during our visit to the Bronx we stopped by and ordered the Oxtails which came with Rice and gravy and some veggies…we had the fried chicken and curry chicken as well, with brown sauce! We topped it off with FRESH (I mean we watched them peel and juice the fruit fresh) juices! EVERY THING WAS DELICIOUS! And I can’t wait to visit this cozy place again the next time...
