2.7.20 - Finally giving this place a full 5-Star review. The restaurant totally deserves it. Almost 5 months into this restaurant and they are consistently great. The service is superb and the value is amazing for what you pay form. Bravo CJ, Kelly, and Ryan, the owners and staff that makes this place one of our family's favorites.
9.28.19 - back again, still the same service and quality food, but for lunch service this time. I might have up my review to five stars...
9.20.19 - we came here last week on 9.13.19 and we're back again because the food is authentic. Compared to Han Dynasty on 3rd Avenue you leave much more satisfied because the food is better in many ways. Some dishes are better in volume, but all dishes are better in quality.
The staff is great. They are attentive, social, and patient. The space is a little crammed, but that's typical of chinese restos. The crowd is heavy with Mando folk and non-Mando.
Starting around 7 it starts to get crowded, and there is an upstairs and a downstairs.
Definitely get a fish soup order; we like the pickle chili fish. The mung bean noodles is good, as well as, the beef tendon. Cumin lamb is spot on. The double le cooked pork is not bad, but there's better 'wok fire' from Gramd Sichuan on 9th Avenue and 24th.
All in all I think this will be our weekly go to spot while...
Read moreWow, what an amazing dining experience at Dragon Palace 🙌🏻. The spicy eggplant and beef chow fun are my absolute favorites, and I can eat them any day 🤤. Friendly, prompt service, food was delivered on time. Very good lunch specials suitable for local college students! Dragon Palace - It is a very genuine Cantonese place right in the heart of town 🏙️. The har gow was perfectly crafted and tasted just as good as at the Dim Sum Palace 🥟. We passed by to have a quick dinner before going to a concert 🎶. We were seated within 10 minutes, and food even came quicker. The flavors just threw me back into the dishes of my childhood 🥢.We ordered shrimp har gow, stir-fried bok choy, and beef with broccoli 🥦. Literally, these shrimp har gow were from the gods 👼. Thin yet strong skin wrapped around the juicy filling of shrimp inside perfectly. Rich flavor and on-point texture made every bite a delight 😋. My only regret was that I didn't get more of it. The beef with broccoli had this really great savory flavor with tender beef. It really went well with the steamed rice, and I just scraped the plate clean 🍚. The stir-fried bok choy tasted deliciously garlicky in texture 🧄.Overall, I am quite pleased with the meal I had at Dragon Palace and would greatly recommend this to the Chinese food lovers in the...
Read moreWent here on Tuesday and watched multiple parties get seated without a reservation. When we asked for a table we got a weird look, and asked if we had a reservation. We said no. After making us wait (while there were many open tables)…. We were seated downstairs in a cold basement where there was not any other patrons…. It looked like a private room (in a dungeon) and nobody else was down there. It was FREEZING. When I went back upstairs and asked for one of the other tables I was told they had reservations. Which I believe was a lie….On a Tuesday. I mean this place has a B rating and isn’t fancy. It a walk in place. Tons of tables open. This was clear discrimination since we had multiple people of color in our party. We were looked at in a disgusting way!!!! Well their loss since we left and went across the street to hello Saigon and were treated great. Sat right away and their food was great!!! Don’t judge or discriminate. You turned away some great people. Two of those kids are well known actors that you judged!!! We took our business elsewhere. You should be ashamed of...
