Cienega Las Tlayudas de Oaxaca — Restaurant in New York

Yummmy! My husband and I ordered for delivery one time and it was really good. I've never had Tlayudas before so when it came in, it was such a shock to see something in a pizza box. I underestimated how big Tlayudas were. Then, today I ordered for pick up and it was just as good! We tried their Carne Asada Tlayudas and the Al Pastor Tlayudas. They were both delicious! They came out fast and it was also a good portion for my husband and I to share for dinner AND pack for lunch. The meats were not dry. It was flavorful. It's also a mom and pop store run by a family (I think) and they were all very kind. The owner is from Oaxaca and he was very friendly and nice. Not only is the food delicious, it's also good to support local...

To begin, I'd like to keep things basic. There will be no equivocation. This site is incredible! What a lovely vibe. The food is absolutely delicious and authentic. Tlayuda with meat and spicy sausage was delicious.

My uncle and brother each ordered a quesadilla. Quesadillas with shrimp and meat. We were astounded by the big amounts and, more significantly, the exquisite flavor of each choice.

As an appetizer, we had some chips and guacamole. Creamy, delicious, and rich. We experienced humble individuals and a warm welcome.

I'll be back in a heartbeat. After hesitating for a long time trying to find out where to eat, this was the best decision we've made. Thank you so much...

An visto esa pelicula de ratatouille? Cuando el critico probo la comida e inmediatamente se transportó a su niñez ? Eso es exactamente lo me paso cuando probé ese mole sinceramente el mejor mole que he probado en new york estubo tan rico que hasta casi me pongo a llorar de loque me hizo recordar mi mexico . Las tortillas hechas a mano muy bien hechas , tratamos varios tipos de tacos y estaban muy bien hechos , las tlayudas muy buenas crujientes probamos la mixta y el agua de horchata muy sabrosa , . Por que pongo 3 estrellas a mi review ? Sinceramente el servicio se me hizo pésimo la comida se tardo demasiado en llegar , cuando pedi el mole estube esperando por unos tenedores y se tardaron en llegar so se enfrió un poco (imagínate lo hubiera comido calentita , me desmayo de lo bueno yo creo) .. una cosa que me di cuenta es que cada platillo que pedi el dueño o no se quien le estaba tomando fotos a mi comida ..que mala suerte yo creo que me toco ser el conejillo de indias , a lo que cuando finalmente llego mi comida ya llegaba tibia ., mis bebidas se tardaron en llegar tambien :( Y a la mesera de repente se le ocurrió tomar su descanso y su comida por que de repente ya estaba comiendo en la mesa de a un lado , pedi el cheque y no habia nadie para cobrarme como en media hora hasta que decidí pararme y pagar .... entiendo mucho los tropiezos de un restaurante ya que yo tambien trabajo en uno pero mi esposa y mis amigos que no estan en la industria se veían enojados y tenia que andar explicando y tranquilizando la onda ya que de verdad me gusto la comida ,, en fin espero que pronto arreglen esas cosas y ya vere en mi próxima visita esperemos pronto por que quiero llevar a mi mama para que de el gusto...
