Coffee Rx — Restaurant in New York

I recently visited your store after receiving a recommendation ,expecting a high quality experience. Unfortunately, I was deeply disappointed. I ordered a matcha latte, which was advertised at just over $6, but I was charged $8.44 simply for choosing oat milk. While I understand that plant based alternatives may have a surcharge, this increase felt excessive especially for a drink that was quite small and, frankly, underwhelming in flavor.

What concerns me most is the lack of balance between price and value. In many reputable establishments, a larger, better-tasting matcha with oat milk is sold for significantly less. I left feeling that the pricing was not only inflated but bordering on exploitative.

I genuinely believe in supporting local businesses, but transparency and fair pricing are key to building customer trust. I hope you take this feedback into account for future improvements.

Very cool coffee shop with some delicious espresso based drinks and teas . The store is very small, more for taking out thank to stay, so it would be very difficult to go there to read, work or chat with friends. The wall inside is nice with a bunch of art from local artist and the baristas themselves, and they also have some of those for sale. This is my favorite place for coffee in Bay Ridge. I always take my friends here whenever we're in this neighborhood. Staff are friendly. My go-to order is the bumblebee latte. I’ve also tried the maple bourbon, dirty chai, lavender, and rose lattes. The lavender and rose lattes were too sweet for me, but to each their own.
