Cold Stone Creamery — Restaurant in New York

I’ve been shopping at this cold stone since 2009!! Before my kid went to college! But today was the strangest experience. I’m waiting in line there’s only 1 person taking orders and he’s in full convo with a customer about “fasting” I waited patiently until it borderlining as flirting as their still talking I asked “excuse is there someone else here taking orders? He turned from his conversation nodded yes and kept talking, he never acknowledged me and when he finished chatting he comes over to take my order and says “Yes? No hello no sorry for the wait basically aggravated because I interrupted his convo. I said hello but he was already not in a customer service mode with me since I asked for help. I asked him can I speak to a manager….only to my surprise he replied STERNLY I am the manager so I said ok I’ll just leave a review. Hire employees who want to do their job. I will never ever go back to that cold stone and waste my money to be treated like I’m an inconvenience. I NEVER...

Took 25mins in line to order. Finally got my order taken. I said twice I wanted a large Oreo milkshake. First the girl behind the counter proceeds to make ice cream on the cold stone so I had to tell her again, I wanted a shake. So she puts damn near a drop of milk in the blender because the milk was frozen then proceeds to put a chocolate chip cookie in the blender. I said, no OREO!!! She got a little frustrated and tossed out the chocolate chip cookie with the drop of milk. She then puts the ice cream she had on table in the blender and added more ice cream. She never once put more milk. And then put only 2 Oreo cookies in the blender for a large shake. It wouldn’t even blend because it was way too thick. Then she’s dealing with other people and other orders. So after all of that, paid full price for blended ice cream...not a milkshake. I’m getting a headache trying to get it through the straw. It is awful and I will never go back...

I would like to say that the service provided by the staff here is exceptional! I usually don’t go in very often but the host Kyle remembered not just my name but my order as well! (Which by the way he helped me decide on, his love for the brand is genuine so he’s truly able to make expert recommendations) I’ve grown to love just the experience of being in the store so much that it’s now my happy place. Last week my co workers went in to get ice cream after hearing me rave about the service and they told me how helpful Kyle was to them as they were so indecisive with all the amazing choices. They told me he was not only patient and helpful but most importantly very knowledgeable about all the flavors and so descriptive about the tastes, that it made it easy for them to decide.
