First of All: Download their app. You get $5 off and when you spend $100 you get $10 credit. Pretty awesome. (You can also use up whatever you have on your paper punch card ($1 off per hole)). Just to go the app store, and they have both Android and iOS. The app will be linked to your credit card, and you can just pay with a QR code instead of your credit card. It's convenient and a receipt is emailed to you.
This place is right by my office and it is THE lunch spot. Don't even try to get there at noon. The line is long. I've never actually waited before, so not sure how quickly it moves. I only go here around 11:00-11:30 when the line is short. I've tried going multiple times at 1pm, but I guess most people eat late, so the line was still pretty long.
The food is good. It's a good healthy option is that's what you're feeling like for lunch. I have not tried their sandwiches or salads, and I've done their large takeout box twice. The small takeout just comes with one scoop whereas the large comes with two scoops. And you get a meat/protein and then some type of rice, and two sides. There is also lots of vegetarian option. The first time, I tried their meatballs, which I really enjoyed and then I also tried their grilled chicken. I thought for healthier options, they did a good job preparing these meat options. I've had their Brussels sprouts, kale, cauliflower with chickpeas. I thought some of the veggies were overcooked and too soggy for me. Hence, I removed a star.
I was really impressed by the staff. They were really patient my very first time there. They handed me a menu and explained what to expect. They also gave me a free drink for being a first timer! They were really great. It was very empty then, so you might not always get that attention depending on...
Read moreStaff is horrible if your not white. Literally had to wait for the conversation between the co workers to finish before I could order my food. Finally get there and the guy gives me attitude as if I’m in the wrong and then makes my food wrong after I told him what I wanted from the selection. Did NOT like the night staff on 12/6 before closing at 8:20pm. They were more concerned with cleaning up and breaking down the kitchen and talking about the manager imperfection as a manager to them instead of giving me what I asked for. The portions served to me were small and disrespectful especially paying for a $13 bowl. I will never eat at any digg in again and I highly suggest not to go there to the broad street location. I honestly love digg in and have been turned away from it due to this unpleasant experience. Just sharing my experience because I know digg in owners will not really do much to change this atmosphere provided by the people they hired here. So again don’t don’t don’t go to this location it’s gross in service form and it makes you feel like you waste your money just to go eat. Everyon that nite staff at 12/6 around 8:30 should be reviewed because it was...
Read moreUsed to LOVE this Dig Inn location (used to be a 5 star lunch spot) but now they’re just like every other Dig Inn with their menu - where is the old tofu salad that was so awesome? New tofu sucks. Where is the pulled chicken? It was so much better (and healthier) than the roasted chicken! Where are the divided plates versus plopping everything in one bowl? I went today for lunch and and one of my sides was the gem wedge - the one bite that wasn’t squished and didn’t have meatball sauce all over it was so delicious...the rest sucked. Also, bring back the small plates - no one needs a protein, farro plus 3 sides. It’s irresponsible. You’re just making people fatter not healthier.
My stars are basically all for the staff - you are so friendly and efficient (in fact 80 Broad location is so inefficient that they should train with you).
It seems like corporate has taken over this location and not for the better. Can you please go back to how you were before...
