So, I've been going to this place for a few months now. Reluctantly I might add because the first few times I was there, they were very pushy about trying to get me to take a 'Spa' pedicure. So much so that it got VERY annoying. However, in trying to remain reasonable since it's a small local business -and I can understand a place trying to maximize their profits- I eventually caved and even continued getting them every once in a while with my daughter. It should be noted though that the 'Spa' pedicure ended up being no different from any other special pedicure you'd get at any nail salon...it's just an extra $30.00! I see others fighting them off constantly. But in the spirit of goodwill, one might say I became a regular and even continued bringing my daughter once in a while.
Where it gets hazy is, a lady that worked on me two manicures ago came up to me while I was in ther middle of a pedicure and said that she undercharged me the last time she gave me a manicure (almost a month ago!). According to her, she forgot to charge $5.00 for a buff (which I always get) and her boss made her pay it to the house as retribution. When I told her truthfully that I didn't remember not being charged (I mean, seriously), she persisted, and persisted, and PERSISTED. She kept walking around me while I was getting serviced by the other worker, speaking intensely in her language (Korean I believe)...and it ended up making me feel me very uncomfortable.
The kicker here is that when it was time to pay, she walked right to the register while I was being charged and pretty much demanded I give her the $5.00 'I owed her'! The worst part though, was that the surrounding staff members had no qualm with her reasoning, or her demand. They supported this tacky attempt at getting money I had no way of knowing was previously charged to me or not.
So, like the 'Spa' pedicure, I caved.
I traded a measly $5.00 for every other dollar I (AND my daughter) will now NEVER spend there.
This place is short-sightedly money hungry, and incredibly tacky. Your money is better...

While given the only samples the store had I realized they didn't have the color I wanted. I was already in the chair by the time I realized this. During that time they took off a coat of nail polish that would've been clipped off if they actually cut down my nail. After my realization I just wanted to leave and probably pay $5 for any inconvenience, even though they did nothing. After rejecting their colors selection several times I decided to have them use clear polish. Which they again didn't cut down all nails, they were not filed down, and there were after color residue still left on the nail. Frustrated, I went to pay and they tried to charge me $12 for a color change that they couldn't even justify because they wouldn't look in my eyes and would only point to the sheet of paper with the total. Even though I didn't change the color, the amount would have been accepted if my nails were actually taken care of, not a simple wipe off of color that was barely there. They eventually asked for $10, I paid that, left and will never go back again. Beware of this place and go...
Read moreI literally had the worst experience I have ever had in a nail salon... Even a budget one like this! I used to live around this area 3 years ago and this was my regular spot. I have come back here at least once a year when I visit out of some crazy loyalty...but NEVER EVER AGAIN!! the woman I had was sooooo rude! She barely said a word and when she did, she would bark instructions that I could barely understand as she could not speak English (until it came to tip time). She did not ask what shape I wanted my nail just proceeded. THEN she proceeded to put cream on my hands and alllllllll over my diamond engagement ring and wedding ring!!! And then proceed to massage it into the fingers with the rings on... Without once looking at my hands!!!! Who does that?! I the freaked and ripped my rings off my hand! She then did not apologize and did not even offer to clean my rings!!!! Ugh! I also very clearly noticed that I did not get a enthusiastic welcome or goodbye whereas anyone Caucasian that came in there or left was given the most happiest of greetings and goodbyes.... For me... Stares and silence. In conclusion, do NOT go here, I will never ever be going again. I do not think I have ever been...
