FAIR GAMES. QUALITY PLUSH. EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE. KID FRIENDLY. Saw this place opened and I checked it out. They had two staff on the floor ready to assist. You can pay with card or cash at either the token atm or the desk and the cost is the same. Dude actually told me outright that the cost of the plush is $15 or $3 a play, in other words every five grabs is a “strong grab.” Even if the customer doesn’t win they will help them. There is also the trade in point system with plenty of Pokémon, Sanrio, and even We Bare Bears. Even a kids craft area. There NO 18+ anime material. Not even much shonen stuff seemingly. Super super great for elementary age kids. I go to a ton of claw places (Anime Claw, Gacha, Partea, Sweet Cat) and holy cow this place has it all. Fair games. Amazing customer service. Trade ins. With the current payout rate this is hands down the best claw place in the five Burroughs. No joke. I hope their payout rate is sustainable for them bc I got 4 big plush in $22 which is insane for any claw place (and then I traded them for five Pokémon plush). Even if they have to tamp it down the customer service and range of options is great. Dude even showed me the difference between a genuine plush and a knock off (look for the brand tags and quality). Highly recommend. Anime Claw you have competition.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ WOW — Horae Play Arcade is a total GEM on the UES! ✨ I surprised my daughters with a trip here and it turned into the ultimate claw machine adventure. From the second we walked in, the vibe was so fun and welcoming. The staff member was AMAZING, he went above and beyond, giving the girls pro tips on how to line up the claw and actually win. And it worked… they walked away with arms full of prizes! 🧸🎉 Here’s what makes this place different: • Fair games, no rigged claws like the ones near Union Square (we’ve been burned there before). Here, the win ratio is REAL. • Guaranteed prizes, even if you don’t win, they make sure you go home with something. • Trade-up system, you can swap smaller prizes for bigger ones (genius idea!). • Snacks & treats, bubble tea + ice cream = kids in heaven. 🍦🧋 • Clean & organized, smaller space than other arcades, but honestly, that made it feel more personal and fun. Getting here was super easy, just a quick bus ride from Harlem and it was SO worth it. My daughters had more fun here than at any other claw machine spot we’ve tried. If you’ve got kids (or if you’re just a kid at heart), you NEED to check this place out. We’re already planning our next visit. 🙌

I recently had the cutest time at this claw game place, and I can't recommend it enough! The atmosphere is absolutely beautiful, making it a lovely spot to spend an afternoon. What really stood out to me was how fair the machines felt; they weren't rigged like at some other places, which made winning a prize all the more enjoyable. The shop owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall positive experience. Plus, I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable everything was—I didn't spend a lot of money and walked away with a great prizes! If you're looking for a fun outing, you definitely need to stop by. Overall, I would give this place a 10/10!

It was pretty easy compared to other close machine places assuming you have basic claw machine knowledge. I spent $10 and won 2 little prizes in 1-2 tries (for reference $10 is 5 plays for small plushes). I was only aiming for keychains LOL. But of course, there’s the guaranteed prize if you do not win anything. I did not need any assistance, but I did notice the lady working at the counter at the time was very attentive to everyone in the store. She noticed this boy did not win anything, so she went up to him before he left, told him about the guaranteed prize and asked which one he wanted before giving it to him. It was so sweet! 🥹 If you go here, you’re definitely not leaving empty handed compared to other claw machine places. I will say that there is not much selection of plushes from the claw machines, or at least as much as I would like. However, you can exchange whatever you catch for tickets and exchange those for prizes behind the counter. I was content with what I caught though so I didn’t...
