I've been going out in NYC for the past six years, and this was one of the most unnecessarily terrible experiences I've had thus far.

The venue aesthetically isn't bad. It's clean overall and features modern, pop art pieces that don't stand out much on their own but offers a welcome atmosphere, nonetheless.

I wish the service followed suit, as even if they did the bare minimum, this would be a decent club to visit. The organizers booked terrible DJ's with little to no experience and had the entire venue nearly empty by the time the last one - the only one who actually played good music - was about to play. Due to the lack of attendants left, they cut off the last DJ mid-set and proceeded to kick everyone out and close early without warning. Despite being the only ones there, exit staff was rude and accused us of stealing our own belongings, as well? That was another pain point I forgot to mention - they required coat check at the front.

Safe to say, I did not try the food and was nowhere near interested given the experience above.

Our experience at DOM for our joint birthday celebration was deeply troubling and disheartening, marked by unsettling incidents of racism and discriminatory actions. Despite our initial agreement, they shockingly denied entry to listed guests, including the one who made the reservation, seemingly based on discriminatory criteria that favored a slender white stereotype. Making it clear that everyone was within the dress code.

In an attempt to address this disturbing behavior, I sought out Jacob, who claimed to be the owner. However, the encounter turned even more distressing when, in the midst of explaining our concerns, JACOB rudely put his hand to my face, declared he wouldn't listen, and walked away. This blatant disregard for our grievances, combined with discriminatory actions, heightened the sense of frustration and disappointment.
