Bait and Switch. On October 7th, I ordered the 'Passport Renewal - Expert Assistance' service for $49.99. Once I placed the order, all I got was an email from them with an invoice and receipt of what I had paid. The following week I decided to give them a call since I had not received any further communication from the company. Their reception picked up the phone and transferred me to someone's voicemail which I had left a message asking for status.

No one called me back. I then called back again the next day and finally got someone on the phone who then explained to me that if I wanted to receive my passport by January of 2022 that I would have to pay them additional fees to expedite my passport renewal. This was not stated on their website. However, I did understand that I would have to pay gov't fees on top of the $49.99 I paid. Nonetheless, these additional fees would be on top of the gov't fees and the $49.99 that I had already paid to Passport Rush. This seemed like a bait and switch tactic so I told them that I wanted to cancel the whole thing and have them refund my money.

The lady on the phone agreed to refund the $49.99 and that it would take 5-7 business. It is now November the 1st 2021 and I still have not received my refund. I have now filed a dispute with my bank to charge back this transaction. This is after I had made another attempt to call again for status of my refund and was put on hold indefinitely! Buyer Beware!

UPDATE: The company has still not refunded me the $49.99 that I paid back in October of 2021. I also filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau in NY and they never responded back to complaint. This company is a total SCAM. Do not USE this...

I needed my passport really soon. Tried to get an appointment at one of the government passport agencies with no luck. So tried calling the private passport agencies but all their prices were ridiculous. So I searched a bit more and found Passport Rush. I read reviews and figured I'd place a 10 day passport renewal order which cost quite a bit as I decided to add the government fee to the overall price. I was called by one of their representatives who made sure to go through all the requirements and gave me a list of all the required documents I would need to bring to their office. I went to their office to drop off my paperwork and only had to wait a couple of minutes. Then had to send a copy of my flight itinerary the same day. This was on the 13th of January and I just received my passport in the mail yesterday on the 21st. They over-delivered on their promise of 10 business days by getting my passport to me in 7 business days which was way sooner than expected as I was told that it could take till the 1st of February. I'm extremely grateful for their quick service and for being there to help throughout the entire process always calling each day to remind me to come into their office to drop off the paperwork. I absolutely recommend them if you need your passport now as they offer services to obtain your passport in fewer days but the price is of course higher. Super reliable! I got invited to a trip to Paris with only a few weeks notice and a passport that was expiring in January, which was a problem because many countries require a passport that's valid for at least 6 months from your departure date. Mine was not, so I needed a renewal very quickly.

I paid for the 4-5 business day option because I'm a worry wart and wanted to make sure I would have my passport in hand well before my trip. I gave them my documents on a Friday, and had my new passport on Wednesday, just about 3 business days later which technically is faster than what I paid for so I consider it money well spent.

It was really simple, I emailed over my information for the renewal form (didn't even have to fill out the form myself, just emailed the pertinent info over), brought my old passport and a 2x2 photo I had taken at my local UPS store, and that was it.

Definitely recommend! In the future I'll be sure to keep a better eye on my passport renewal date, but it is kind of great to know there are super reliable services that deliver even...
