⭐☆☆☆☆ Turn around and walk to Chipotle—seriously
Walked in on a dead Thursday at 3 PM hungry and hopeful… walked out disappointed and annoyed. If you’re looking for bold flavor, value, or anything remotely spicy—turn right around and walk to your nearest Chipotle because this knockoff is not it.
I asked what the most popular meat was and was told carnitas. Got it in a bowl and immediately regretted not going to Chipotle. The portion size? Half. The flavor? Bland. Even the habanero? Not even close to spicy.
To make it worse, I had to chase someone down to even get that bland habanero. A worker was just sitting there doing nothing while I clearly needed help. But the second a young woman walked in, he jumped up like it was a runway show. 🤷♂️
Eventually, I got help from the female staff member—who was actually doing her job—and got my sad, flavorless sauce.
And don’t even think about using the restroom. Filthy. No toilet paper. No paper towels. I had to use my shirt to dry my hands. If you’ve got employees just sitting around, maybe have them clean the restroom once in a while?
My advice: skip the disappointment, save your money, and go to Chipotle. Bigger portions, more flavor, less regret and not a shame to Mexican cuisine and based on San Francisco Mission burrito. Take that picture down, you...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Dos Toros Taqueria, and I must say it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the outstanding service provided by Rosa Morales. Her warm smile and attentive demeanor immediately put me at ease, making me feel like I was in good hands.
The food, of course, was the main event, and Dos Toros did not disappoint. The burritos and tacos were expertly crafted, with each bite bursting with flavor and freshness. The portion sizes were generous, and the prices were very reasonable.
But what truly set my experience apart was Rosa's dedication to ensuring that every customer left feeling satisfied. She took the time to answer all my questions, made recommendations, and even checked in on me throughout my meal to ensure everything was to my liking.
Overall, I would highly recommend Dos Toros Taqueria to anyone looking for delicious Mexican cuisine and exceptional service. Rosa Morales is a true asset to the team, and I look forward to returning soon to experience her...
Read moreDos Toros is generally my go to choice among the fast-casual Mexican giants. I've touted it above Chipotle and Qdoba many a time. However, this particular location was an absolute let down. The restaurant was practically empty and the person making my bowl was rushed to get my order ready. The only thing that I got a lot of was the mixed greens, but they were so stingy with all the other items. It almost felt like they couldn't be bothered to give me items that needed cooking/preparation and gave me as little as possible. The protein portion was barely 1 scoop and the guacamole portion was also minimal. The chicken was overcooked and everything tasted cold. While I certainly understand inflation pricing having worked in food service myself, $15 for the quality and quantity received is not justifiable. As a note, I rarely write bad reviews about a place. I'm not sure if corporate has intervened at this location, but the employees need to be re-trained. I don't see my...
